Kreator
Formed in 1982 in Essen Germany under the name Tyrant, The band Kreator have been one of the leaders in the German Thrash Metal Scene. In 1987, Kreator would release their third album "Terrible Certainty". It featured more complex arrangements and varied tempos. It features the hit "Behind The Mirror" as well as a video for the song "Toxic Trace".
Coroner
Coroner who is a swedish Thrash Metal band, formed in 1983 were the road crew for Celtic Frost. They recorded their first demo entitled "Death Cult" in 1986 with Tom G. Warrior on vocals. For their first album bassist Ron Broader took over vocals duties from there on in. Coroner are known for their style which is not only Thrash but also adds elements of classical music, avant-garde, progressive rock, jazz and industrial metal.They were often called, the Rush of Thrash Metal. Their second album "Punishment For Decadence" was released in 1988. The album was similar to their debut but they added more melodic guitars. The bands playing was also more precise than earlier recordings.
