A Life Changing Moment.

Updated on November 6, 2012

A Day in The Life.

l have tried to imagine a normal average guy, barely 40 years of age, with a wife, whom he loves and a beautiful son.

Not only does he have these treasures, but this mans´career is about to take an up turn , he´s just starting over.

Times are looking rosy , until he walks home from work late one night, and just inside his apartment block a voice from behind says one word.........´´John!´´......

It takes seconds.........., bullets fly, John is down, Yoko screams, DONE!!!!

A complete change to some peoples´lives , in a flash.! Thanks to the ghastly Mark Chapman. Is he mad? Does it matter?..... A woman has lost the husband she loved, a small boy has lost his daddy, and from there it spreads, . An older boy has lost the father he ´d had very little time with.. Friends have lost somone they love. Bang! Millions of lives changed in a moment.

John Winston Lennon. R.I.P.

There´s nothing l can write about John Lennon that hasn´t been written before (apart from my personal journey from 13 year old Beatlemaniac to old lady still loving Lennon McCartney music.)

That´s why this hub is so short. It´s all been said before, yet l could not let the date pass by without a small tribute to a highly talented man that not everyone loved, but the milions who did love him, still do with a passion..

Who else could think of spending their Honeymoon in a large double bed, with reporters and cameras in the room. A ´Bed In´´ for peace..

It´s hard to believe that 31 years later the world is no nearer to peace than it was on the day John died.

Millions of minds will have to be changed, if we are to have any chance of a peaceful world. The words of ´´Imagine,´´ are some of the most wonderful song lyrics ever written when thinking of a world without war, without hunger, without crime....... Seems like a dream...

Yet there once lived another man who spoke similar words to our dear John Lennon.´´For all those who live by the sword, shall die by the sword.´´ (mathew 26 verse 51) ´´Happy are the peaceable, for they shall be called sons of God´´. (Matthew 5 verse 9. ).That man was of course, Jesus Christ. ´´Because the LAMB who is in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them, and will guide them to fountains of watrs of life., and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.´. Revelation chapter 7 verse 17.

l hope John will be there.
