Love Quotes from the Movies

This collection of love quotes from the movies is the product of a decades old tradition that still happens at the university I attended whenever a woman gets engaged. Now, I have to be careful not to disclose any top secret information. But essentially, this is a gathering of women only. Nobody knows who the lucky woman is except for the gathering planner/s and the woman herself. In a cleverly thought out fashion (that I cannot speak about), it becomes a game to try and guess which one of them at this "gathering" is going to get married.

My roommate, who is also one of my very best friends, got engaged last year and chose me to throw this "gathering" for her. It is common to read love quotes during this time, but so much of the time, the love quotes were pretty sappy and cheesy. This style was not fitting of my friend and her fiance, so I decided to choose love quotes from popular movies that women in the circle could relate to. These were some of those quotes that I hand-picked to read during her "get-together". Yes they are a tad sappy, but sometimes people need a little sappy in their lives.
