Which Film do you think is the Most Disturbing of All???

See results

The Human Centipede

After seeing this film I think I told everyone i knew about it the very next day, that's how much of a shock it left on me. The thing is about this film is that villain isn't doing what he does for sexual pleasure or torture, he is a scientist & surgeon who has lost his mind and wants to create a real human centipede!!! Now how he does this is the worst part of all and that's by attaching each person mouth to the person in front of them behind. But how do they eat? you might ask, well........... think about it, The food the front person eats had to come out somewhere!!! That's right into the next persons mouth!!!! AHHHHHH

That scene will be stuck in my mind for years to come and if you see it then I am sure it will have the same effect on you. The ending is not what you expect and leaves you in a "what is she gonna do now???" moment.

Martyrs

Martyrs which is one of the few movies that I have ever had to hit the fast forward button during. I have my limits. Martyrs is easily one fo the most violent and sadistic movies ever made and it is also one of the best films I have ever seen. The story, the characters and the absolutely shocking end make this movie a must see for any horror fan. For this one I can not even give you info on some of scenes you just need to watch it and find out.

Hostel

Well I can tell you one thing for sure, this made every American kid open up there pocket books and spring for a nice hotel on the trip for Europe because after this movie came out Hostels were not the place you wanted to be staying at. A story where kids check into a hostel but they don't check out. They are drugged and then taken to a torture room where they wake up in a place where people pay to torture people of the race of their choice.

The things they do are disturbing and at times I even had to look away, there are many parts that make you say "what would I do in this situation" All i can say is you will NEVER catch me staying in Hostel, EVER!!!

The Girl Next Door

This movie is so creepy because of the cheery 50's vibe the movie gives off the in beginning, you think to yourself what could possibly go wrong........then your questioned is answered! A lot of what happens in this movie is implied and not actually seen but enough is seen to definitely leave a mark on you. The worst part is that this is based off a true story which is equally as disturbing as the movie. The film tells the story of a girl who is locked in a basement  and  then tortured and sexually abused by the neighborhood children. All while one of the children's mother sits by and not only condones it but encourages more of it.

The worst scene in the movie is when the mother decides that she needs to take away the girls need for pleasure by taking a torch to her lady area! Again the scene is not shown graphically but the screams from the girl alone are enough to make you cringe.

The Hills Have Eyes 1 & 2

The Hills have Eyes is one of those movies where you have this happy all american family on a roadtrip and then within minutes everything changes and goes horribly wrong. One by one the family is picked off by the deformed, flesh eating, angry desert dwellers. The worst part in the entire movie happens during 15 minutes of total horrific chaos! People being burned alive in front their family, shot, and raped! Its truly a scene that will leave you in shock.

The hills have eyes 2 movie as a whole is nowhere near as good as the first but the opening scene is the most horrific and disturbing within the whole movie. A girl is laying tied down , naked ,dirty, and screaming. You soon realize its because she is giving birth to one of these horrible creatues off spring, I wont give away the rest of scene but believe me, i cringed the whole way through!

Last House On The Left

Before Wes started directing some teeny bopper slasher flicks there was a time when Wes Craven was kind of a badass. Back in the 70’s Craven directed Last House On The Left. The film is pretty non-stop with torture and gore, and even today is pretty shocking, especially when you think about the fact that the movie was made all the way back in 1972. There was a remake realesed some what recently but like with most horror film remakes the original is hard to compare too and rarely ever to be surpassed

Cannibal Holocaust

Cannibal Holocaust really is one of the most controversial films ever made. It has a long history of being banned from just about everywhere and in some places still is. People though the killings looked so real that they believed the director was actually killing members of his cast. The human cast members all survived but the animal deaths unfortunately are very real. There are many acts of animal cruelty in the film, including the very real killing of a large sea turtle,

All of these are pretty horrific. But I would say Hilly Eyes Remake Part 1 tops the list. That infamous long scene of the ... attack. One of the rare t instances I looked away from the screen.

I've seen all the movies on this list, except for "Hills Have Eyes 2"...I think. I may have seen it and forgot. I know I saw the remake of part 1.

Liked "Martyrs", "Last House", and "Cannibal Holocaust" (of course!). "Centipede" and "Hostel" were...eh, okay. And "Girl Next Door" really didn't do anything for me. I kinda got the feeling that I was supposed to be shocked and/or horrified simply by the idea alone, but... oh well.

If you haven't, you should check out 2007's "Sick Girl". It's a good (and gruesome) indie horror.

      Nice article, Glimmer. Voted up!

The Human Centipede 2 makes the first one look like a kids G rated Disney flick.

I think perhaps you should watch A Serbian Film. I have not been game enough to watch it but it sounds horrific. It is just recent and is also, like Cannibal Holocaust, under inspection as the deaths are very realistic.

Hostel is absolutely one of my favorite horror movies. The scene where the guy sees his dead friend and then realizes what's happening is fantastic. You're on the edge of your seat wondering if he'll be able to escape. Great movie!

Hey Glimmer, Awesome Hub as usual..

"The Hills Have Eyes" got my vote hands down.

Even though I love cruisin' with the sunroof dropped, I couldn't drive to Vegas on the I15 for months after seeing that flick a while back on DVD...Gettin' a flat? At night? Just you and your significant other? Out numbered by a bunch of Canabalistic Cretins?...Took me a while get over it...And the "Star" later went on to do a bang up job in that "Motley Crue" Video...
