Movie Review: The Antman and the Wasp (2018)
REVIEW
The Antman and the Wasp was a sequel to the original movie, the Antman. It stars Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly which played, the Antman and the Wasp.
I originally rated the movie 3.5, however Hubpages only allowed whole numbers to be the rates. 3.5 is a high-rating for a movie, however, it is not for a Marvel movie.
I rated the movie 3.5 which is a great amount of number because of the camera actions and the features that they showed. The story line was intact and in agreement with the previous Marvel movies. (SPOILER ALERT!!) The movie explained why Antman was not around during the attack of Thanos on Earth and what happened to him after the Avengers: Civil War.
I kind of feel like 3.5 was a low rate for a Marvel movie, because I, myself is a Marvel fan and I can binge watch every Marvel movie that came out, however, with the Antman and the Wasp, it kinda felt like something was missing in the movie itself. The fight scenes were great, but the whole of it was just not enough for me.
The enemy that they had was so easy to defeat and the way they defeated or made it surrender was very off-putting and was just terrible for Marvel movie. (This makes me so confused!!) The way they also helped the girl was just too easy that it almost doesn't even make a big deal out of it, even if the whole was sidelined to defeat the girl and help the original Wasp get out of the Quantum realm.
(SPOlLER ALERT!!)
Part credits, the most awaited part in a Marvel movie, it showed what happened to Antman and his crew during Thanos' attack and finger snapped. It also showed a very possible solution and even a forecast of what will Antman's role in the new upcoming Avengers: Endgame which will be shown this 2019! So let's all wait and hope for the best that they did not just all turn into dust.
