Open Letter to Britney Spears
Includes Britney's Greatest Hits Songs
To Britney Spears, What a journey you've had! What a legacy you've created! Does it still feel surreal to you?
You began performing at such a young age and continued on to super stardom even though you were Not Yet A Woman.
Sure you had some rocky patches, but hopefully you've learned from them.
You still have quite a following of fans even though your entertainment abilities have altered a bit.
Your singing and stage persona aren't what they used to be, but that's okay we live and learn!
You lost your mojo, but you have put your foot down to the music industry and basically told them I'm Not A Slave For You. Kudos to you!

Britney Spears continued...
You will turn thirty-one years old on December 2nd and you are aging like a fine wine. You're a mother of two adorable Boys. I'm sure Everytime you look at them your heart melts a little bit more. You have been blessed with many Lucky moments in your life. Congratulations on your latest engagement to your long-time boyfriend and former manager Jason Trawick.
Personally I wish it worked out for you and Justin Timberlake, but everything happens for a reason. I'm wishing you lots of luck. You can now say I've Just Begun, Having My Fun! So do you plan on having another Baby One More Time in the near future? The thought might have entered your mind about having more kids Sometimes, but as you know it's Your Prerogative!
You first came upon the music scene in 1999 wearing your cute schoolgirl outfit! Since then you've sold over 100 million records! You are the 8th top selling performer worldwide! You have seven albums that you mastered! I salute you Miss Spears! Such a triumph for a girl born in Mississippi and raised in Louisana. You lost your Southern Bell-ness along the way, but you will be just fine because that's how you roll!
Your first movie Crossroads didn't fair too well but your Pepsi commercial is by far my favorite! Other celebs tried to pull off a Pepsi commerical, but yours is the best! My favorite video of yours is Stronger, I'm still trying to perfect the chair dance moves...it's not working to well for me. Do you have tricks of the trade to share with me?
You'd probably prefer if I didn't bring this up but your Outrageous comeback performance at the 2007 VMA's...Wow! I bet you'd like to rewind the clock and totally delete that evening! Let's look at the positive side such as your many accomplishments that have been duly recognized.
Whether you won a Grammy, MTV, AMA, Cyprus, Teen Choice, a BMI or an Emmy you always accepted with gratitude and glee! Did you Do Somethin' nice for yourself after accomplishing so much in such a short period of time? I hope so, you earned it!
We won't mention the lip syncing, Oops I Did It Again! Sorry, I tend to ramble. I have to admit that song was stuck in my head forever! Due to being a multi-tasker I do have a tendency to make a few mistakes. I would often break out into a medley of Oops and then laugh it off! Thank you Brit for showing me there is humor in faux pas!
Britney Spears...Stronger

Yet, more Britney Spears
You did have a few glitches along the way which was not a surprise. You kept the paparazzi and media abuzz for a long time. I felt for you. I knew it wasn't easy being you at times because you were a dollar sign to so many. Your life was becoming Toxic, but luckily your dad intervened, for a fee of course. He Overprotected you and helped you get better. It's nice when someone cares enough about you to have your back, isn't it? When you shaved your head I envied you! I felt by doing this you were liberating yourself, proving your point. Others thought you were Crazy! What do they know!? Did they take into consideration that your favorite aunt had just died of ovarian cancer the month before? No, the vultures buzzing around just wanted to make money off of you.
Your 2007 and 2008 stints in rehab obviously helped you, for which I am sure you are grateful. You once said yourself that you've hit rock bottom. We know by now the only way to heal is to admit defeat, you are a prime example of courage. You lost custody of your kids, but you succeeded in regaining custody back. That's a relief for them. Kevin Federline is their dad but he looks like he could use some guidance himself.
This good news is that you are now Stronger, still don't have your mojo though. You stood your ground and told people I'm Not A Girl, allow me to grow! I think they finally heard you! Way to go Brit! Is it ok if I call you Brit? I'm used to Brit because that's all I heard from my daughters when they were your biggest fans...Brit this and Brit that!
I do have a pet peeve. Your song collaboration with Madonna Me Against The Music...it was a great song even though Madonna was in it (not a fan). My peeve is that infamous mouth kiss between the two of you at the 2003 MTV Music Awards. I gagged! I truly felt for you at that moment and wondered how long afterwards you cleansed your mouth for! Ewwww.
I'm wishing you good luck with your upcoming marriage. A future filled with happiness watching your sons grow up into men. A healthy mind, body and soul. Thank you for all the wonderful memories of your music, videos and the good times I spent with my daughters enjoying your entertainment. Peace out!
