Linda (Kaywood) Bilyeu is a self-published author. Her books are available on Amazon. She writes from the heart—there is no other way.

Includes Britney's Greatest Hits Songs

To Britney Spears, What a journey you've had! What a legacy you've created! Does it still feel surreal to you?

You began performing at such a young age and continued on to super stardom even though you were Not Yet A Woman.

Sure you had some rocky patches, but hopefully you've learned from them.

You still have quite a following of fans even though your entertainment abilities have altered a bit.

Your singing and stage persona aren't what they used to be, but that's okay we live and learn!

You lost your mojo, but you have put your foot down to the music industry and basically told them I'm Not A Slave For You. Kudos to you!

Britney Spears

Britney Spears continued...

You will turn thirty-one years old on December 2nd and you are aging like a fine wine. You're a mother of two adorable Boys. I'm sure Everytime you look at them your heart melts a little bit more. You have been blessed with many Lucky moments in your life. Congratulations on your latest engagement to your long-time boyfriend and former manager Jason Trawick.

Personally I wish it worked out for you and Justin Timberlake, but everything happens for a reason. I'm wishing you lots of luck. You can now say I've Just Begun, Having My Fun! So do you plan on having another Baby One More Time in the near future? The thought might have entered your mind about having more kids Sometimes, but as you know it's Your Prerogative!

You first came upon the music scene in 1999 wearing your cute schoolgirl outfit! Since then you've sold over 100 million records! You are the 8th top selling performer worldwide! You have seven albums that you mastered! I salute you Miss Spears! Such a triumph for a girl born in Mississippi and raised in Louisana. You lost your Southern Bell-ness along the way, but you will be just fine because that's how you roll!

Your first movie Crossroads didn't fair too well but your Pepsi commercial is by far my favorite! Other celebs tried to pull off a Pepsi commerical, but yours is the best! My favorite video of yours is Stronger, I'm still trying to perfect the chair dance moves...it's not working to well for me. Do you have tricks of the trade to share with me?

You'd probably prefer if I didn't bring this up but your Outrageous comeback performance at the 2007 VMA's...Wow! I bet you'd like to rewind the clock and totally delete that evening! Let's look at the positive side such as your many accomplishments that have been duly recognized.

Whether you won a Grammy, MTV, AMA, Cyprus, Teen Choice, a BMI or an Emmy you always accepted with gratitude and glee! Did you Do Somethin' nice for yourself after accomplishing so much in such a short period of time? I hope so, you earned it!

We won't mention the lip syncing, Oops I Did It Again! Sorry, I tend to ramble. I have to admit that song was stuck in my head forever! Due to being a multi-tasker I do have a tendency to make a few mistakes. I would often break out into a medley of Oops and then laugh it off! Thank you Brit for showing me there is humor in faux pas!

Britney Spears...Stronger

Britney Spears

Yet, more Britney Spears

You did have a few glitches along the way which was not a surprise. You kept the paparazzi and media abuzz for a long time. I felt for you. I knew it wasn't easy being you at times because you were a dollar sign to so many. Your life was becoming Toxic, but luckily your dad intervened, for a fee of course. He Overprotected you and helped you get better. It's nice when someone cares enough about you to have your back, isn't it? When you shaved your head I envied you! I felt by doing this you were liberating yourself, proving your point. Others thought you were Crazy! What do they know!? Did they take into consideration that your favorite aunt had just died of ovarian cancer the month before? No, the vultures buzzing around just wanted to make money off of you.

Your 2007 and 2008 stints in rehab obviously helped you, for which I am sure you are grateful. You once said yourself that you've hit rock bottom. We know by now the only way to heal is to admit defeat, you are a prime example of courage. You lost custody of your kids, but you succeeded in regaining custody back. That's a relief for them. Kevin Federline is their dad but he looks like he could use some guidance himself.

This good news is that you are now Stronger, still don't have your mojo though. You stood your ground and told people I'm Not A Girl, allow me to grow! I think they finally heard you! Way to go Brit! Is it ok if I call you Brit? I'm used to Brit because that's all I heard from my daughters when they were your biggest fans...Brit this and Brit that!

I do have a pet peeve. Your song collaboration with Madonna Me Against The Music...it was a great song even though Madonna was in it (not a fan). My peeve is that infamous mouth kiss between the two of you at the 2003 MTV Music Awards. I gagged! I truly felt for you at that moment and wondered how long afterwards you cleansed your mouth for! Ewwww.

I'm wishing you good luck with your upcoming marriage. A future filled with happiness watching your sons grow up into men. A healthy mind, body and soul. Thank you for all the wonderful memories of your music, videos and the good times I spent with my daughters enjoying your entertainment. Peace out!

Thanks for all of this information on Brittany Spears...it seems that her star might being fading a little bit. It is hard to believe that she is already over 30. Voted up and very interesting.

Great tribute to Brittany. I could never be in the limelight like these stars. I liken stars lives as "hell." They live in a fishbowl and it's all so unnatural. Brittany is very talented but I think she's realizing that her children are her biggest asset.

I do like Britney and I feel very sorry for her. She does have wonderful talent! My girls have enjoyed a ton of her hits too. I am glad she is seeming to be getting it together and I think she will always be a star if she stays straight. Up and awesome!

Brit started out so young and has done so much. She went through some tough times and the media didn't help. But is great to see her come back and still in great such shape.

You did a great job here Sunshine as you always do with these letters.

I was never the greatest fan of Brit, but I enjoyed some of her music. My boyfriend on the other hand owned her CDs and still has most of her songs memorized. Once again you did a very good job with this letter thing. Very interesting, resourceful, and yet entertaining as heck! Also a great flashback... I was in 5th grade when I first heard about her. Seems so long ago! lol. Good memories :-)

Britney should hire you, Sunshine, to do press relations for her and run interference. You do it so much better and kinder than the folks she has had working for her in the past. Great fan letter.

I definitely agree with you about Madonna (not a fan either, never have been), but I always liked Britney, there was a time she was on top of the world, I remember my son back then was a teenager had a huge poster of her in his room he was in love, he said he would marry her one day. How could you blame him she was and still is gorgeous. But I do agree she did lose her mojo along the way somewhere, but I wish nothing but the best for her, she's had it hard for a long time, and the media just made it worse for her I felt sorry for her actually, great hub sunshine, hope you're having a good day, even I know it's a sad one too:( love ya :) ge

You do IT everytime, Sunshine. Definitely you hold the key to composing letters to celebrities, intermingling their careers and works of art, songs, as well as their many Oops through the years...in such a masterful way...as only YOU can do! Britney is one of those Music Starlets who seems to have begun by being in the right place at the right time...then seized the opportunity and ran with it...stumbling along the way, yet somehow manage to retrieve rather than retreat. I wish her happiness (finally) in her new love.

Great article Sunshine! Opps, You Did it Again.. :) I am very glad she has gotten her life straightened out and she is singing again. I was a big fan of hers in the 90's. I hope she will read this and smile!

Thank you Alecia, Ardie, Ray and Marisa...Britney will love your comments when she stops by to read this hub.

Ray, the mojo that we are used to is non-existant but we still love Brit! She's still a rockin' pop-star!

Very nice Sunshine! Britney is such a pretty woman. I worried about her and her children, but it sure seems she is rising back up. I wish her and her cute kiddos the best. I hope to see her rockin' the moves in a new video soon. She can move!

Her abs in that Pepsi video are rock hard!

      Voted up and across!

Hey Sunshine, I find it interesting that you make the claim that she hasn't found her mojo again and that you mention it a couple of times. However, if you go YouTube and look up the 2011 Billboard music event that ABC just did, you'll find a video of her on stage with Rhianna. The song they sing is Rhianna's S&M song, but the point is that Rhianna seems that the hottest thing going these days, however having said that when Britney came out to continue singing the song, the crowd actually got louder. So, she's got all the mojo she needs. ;) Other than that great hub. And, thank you for linking to my hub. I have several of her videos on it. :)

I LOVE this hub Sunshine! Britney Spears has always been one of my favorites. All through her troubled years I just wanted to bring her to my house and keep her safe and hidden until she had her head on straight again. I felt like the protective mother to her that I knew she needed. I'm so glad she's finally coming back and regaining some sort of normalcy to her life. I hope she gets a chance to see this letter to know she was still in our hearts the entire time :) Great job! Voting up and all across.

Yay! I'm first. I didn't like Me Against the Music or that ridiculous kiss either. It was just wrong and unfortunately continued the trend of girls kissing each other for attention. But you posted one of my fave videos, Stronger. I loved that song so much and I still think it was robbed at the MTV VMAs. But I'm glad she got the vanguard award this past year. Great job Sunshine!
