My Music Playlist
Music is a huge part of me. It lives deep in my soul. I don't know where I'd be today without music in my life.
My musical tastes are diverse. I can listen to and enjoy all genres of music so long as the song is great and so long as it speaks to me in some way or stirs up emotions within me.
I will never not listen to a song just because it's rap or hip-hop. And I will never listen to a song just because it's pop or rock, etc. I listen to songs because I love them and because they affect me in some way or get stuck in my head.
My Music Playlist
I not only love to listen to music but collect it too. My collection features over 150 albums of different genres. There's pop, rock, country, Russian, rap, classical, and others.
The recording artists whose albums I own are many. Some of the most popular ones are Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato, Daughtry, Adam Lambert, Maroon 5, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Backstreet Boys, EMINEM, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and Britney Spears. I don't own these albums just because these people are popular. I own them because I love their music and because it speaks to me in some way.
With so many albums in my collection it is hard to pick favorites but lately I've been listening a lot to Maroon 5's Overexposed, Bridget Mendler's Hello My Name Is..., Kelly Clarkson's Stronger, Demi Lovato's Demi, Selena Gomez's Stars Dance, and Jessica Lowndes' Nothing Like This. These are my favorite albums right now. They are stuck in my head and I just can't stop singing the songs from them.
I just can't picture my life without music. It is a huge part of my life and something I can't live without. I don't just love to pop in a CD, or turn on the radio and listen to music. I also love to sing my heart out whether along to a track or simply a cappella. Many times I also sing something that I had previously written or something (the lyrics) that I come up with on the spot.
Music was, is and always will be important to me... When I was in college I was fortunate to take part in Chorus, where I not only got to learn amazing songs from back in the day but I also got to perform in concerts. Unfortunately, I was only able to do it for the last four semesters of my college career. This is something that makes me a bit sad because I would have loved to do it for four and a half years instead of just those four semesters.
Besides, taking part in Chorus I have also taken part in karaoke and in shows on cruise ships that I have been on. It was a great experience and I will never forget it.
With music being a huge part of me and my life I proud to say that I have written over 340 lyrics. Most of them are already published in my own lyric books, and newer ones will be published soon in my new book that I am working on.
While I've self-recorded some of my songs a cappella it sure would be nice to have them professionally recorded. I would really love to have my own albums with my owns songs on them.. It would surely be a dream come true. Not sure it will ever happen though as I don't have a perfect ear for pitch and I can't read sheet music.
I wish that there was a way for me to sell my lyrics to recording artists. I wonder how I can make that happen...There has to be a way. My lyrics are really good and deserve to be made into songs and recorded for people all over the world to hear.
Maybe I'd be able to make a lot of money with my lyrics... As they say "you never know..." Of course only time will tell if that will actually happen for me or not, but I sure hope it does. It will make me very, very happy!
