Spoiler Free Review of the Avengers:Endgame
Before I go to my spoiler free review, I would like to share that I have been collecting comics since 1992 and I have watched all the Marvel Films, from Iron Man in 2008 to Captain Marvel. I have been with the Heroes for a long time and it tears me up that we have reached the final page of the comic. Now, wipe our tears and onto our review.
Here is my spoiler free review:
(1) It's worth the advance booking and the Day 1 viewing.
(2) As an avid comic book reader, watching the film made me feel like I am looking at panels of a comic book. It's the most comic book of all comic book based films I ever watched.
(3) If you'd been watching them since 2008, you'd feel a sense of joy seeing how all the characters developed in a decade. Even if you have been with them since 2008, you'll still be surprised at how the things turned out. However, deep inside of you, you are saying to yourself "I knew that would happen?".
(4) Arguably, Endgame stands out as the Magnum Opus among all other Comic book-based films ever made. Other franchises will really have to work hard to come up with something like this.
It's the end of an ERA indeed and I did not mean it in a negative way. The Marvel Cinematic Universe ended it's decade beautifully and I am excited to see what's next in the ever expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe.
So again, It's a great movie. Watching it on Day 1 is a highlight of the 27 years of my being a MARVEL FAN.
And that is my review, sweet and short. If I write any longer, I might end up writing the entire film.
:)
