My Top 10 Favorite songs by Morrissey
Can't make a list for The Smiths and not the leading man himself...
So here it is. This has been long overdue! Here's my top ten all-time favorite songs by Morrissey. It was sooo hard to pick just ten.. This list can go on and on :)
One. Suedehead- The chorus is so catchy! Only he can get away with that! "Oh, it was a good lay, good lay." :)
Two. Break Up The Family- This song is on here for so many reasons. "The strange logic in your clumsiest line, it stays emblazoned on my mind. Break up the family, and let's begin to live our lives. I want to see all my friends tonight."
Three. November Spawned A Monster- At one point in my life I actually started to believe that this was the theme song of my life. " Sleep on and dream of love, because it's the closest you will get to love. Poor twisted child, so ugly, so ugly."
Four. Hairdresser on Fire- Another classic :) "Can you squeeze me into an empty page of your diary and psychologically save me? I've got faith in you."
Five. Picadilly Palare- "It may all end tomorrow, or it could go on forever. In which case, I'm doomed."
Six. Everyday Is Like Sunday- "Everyday is like Sunday. Everyday is silent and grey."
Seven. Let Me Kiss You- "Close your eyes, and think of someone you physically admire and let me kiss you."
Eight. The Last of The Famous International Playboys- "I never wanted to kill, I am not naturally evil. Such things I do, just to make myself more attractive to you. Have I failed?"
