This show really perfects the genre of Crime Drama. Great performances from Kevin Bacon (Who I was never a fan of until now) and James Purefoy, I was reluctant to try this show out seeing as there are so many cop shows around these days but it really is a fantastic piece of work.

On one side we have intricate work of an intelligent Psychopath and his obsessed followers who heed to his every command and on the other we have former FBI agent John Hardy who is, himself intertwined in the unfolding plot both personally and professionally.

Every episode from every season of the Gilmore Girls will be hitting Netflix October 1st 2014. Whether you are a hardcore fan of the fast speaking girls from Connecticut or you have simply heard about the show and want to check it out, there is no better time than now

Heroes

Normal people going about their daily lives, that is until one day when they realize they have super powers. The special effects are great. The villains are impressive. The super powers are random, and the story is not too obvious. Some scenes are put together in a way that they will have a lasting effect and this show will stick in your memory and make you come back fro more. It's great and available to watch from the first episode. For me, it was like watching a movie every tIme I turned it on.

The Walking Dead

You may have noticed all the hype about The Walking Dead currently showing on AMC. Well, I will be honest, this show is just great, but only if you can tolerate gore and violence. The cast, storyline, script, and production value are second to none. If you have not seen this show, catch it from the beginning, excluding the next season, on netflix.

Sons of Anarchy

Sons of Anarchy is an US tv series created based around the lives of band of motorcycle "hells angels" style Fella's who live in California. The main character has just had a child and attempts to mix up his two very different worlds. One, the vicious life he leads as part of the motorcycle club. The other, his family life.

Rating: 8/10

Breaking bad is a well put together show, with a deep and fantastic storyline about an overqualified High school chemistry teacher, who is diagnosed with a terminal illness. He turns his for chemistry toward a more sinister route, becoming a Meth manufacturer.

As the story progresses, the characters become deeper and more real. This show is quite true to real life and something I feel that many would enjoy, but have not had the chance to watch it. Well here it is on Netflix. Enjoy!

This show is a blast. I never really got into it on cable because it was impossible to follow if I missed one episode. Needless to say when I saw it on Netflix Instant I jumped at the opportunity to watch it.

Based around a genius, yet wacky scientist, his quite criminal, yet very smart son and an FBI agent who takes it upon her self to trust them, in order to prevent the unthinkable from happening on a constant basis. This show pushes the limits of science fiction to the edge and is just really entertaining.

30 ROCK

This show is based around a middle aged woman who works in a movie studio at 30 Rockefeller plaza with some crazy, zany and quite unsavory characters. At first I was a little blown away by the craziness, but once you get into it, you will enjoy it. It's a great show and at the same time is only for the random hearted. If you enjoy your random jokes, some of which make very little sense to no sense, or are very far out there, then this is for you.

Offensive? Yes...quite

How I met your mother

This is a more conventional sitcom comedy and often times reminds me of the show 'friends'. The characters are easily loved, easily hated and some are just plain legendary and you will love to hate them. based in NY city, the gang spend a lot of time hanging out at their local bar. This show is enjoyable for people of all ages and walks of life including students, single people and couples. Everyone can relate to their ridiculous adventures. Give it a watch.

Offensive? Not particularly

South Park

This shows has been around a long time and unless you have been living in a bomb shelter, I believe you know what its all about. An animated show based on the crazy adventures of a group of messed up kids living in a small snow covered Colorado town. If you like it, you will love it. If you hate it.......you will know immediately.

Offensive? Extremely

I really didn't want to watch this show, because there was so much hype. It won about seventeen hundred awards and that just really pissed me off. But my wife started watching it on Netflix and convinced me to sit down about 5 episodes in. I have to admit its brilliant. I'm now hooked on what may just be one of the best comedies ever. Ed O,Neill really hasn't lost his charmless charm since his 'married with children days' as Al Bundy.

The storylines are great, you can relate to the characters, even when you have nothing in common with them, and after 30 or so episodes I am still eager to keep watching nightly.

Offensive? Maybe sometimes, but mostly even suitable for younger teens.

Greys Anatomy

Seattle Grace hospital is home to some of the most entertaining doctors and surgeons you will ever see. This shows is a step up from E.R and something that will grow on you. Give it a watch. You might end up watching every season. Who knows.

Skins (UK)

This show is based around the life's of a group of Teens living in England. They are into drugs, drink and anything else that will distract them from their unfortunate lives. The show does provide some laughs, and has created a number of Hollywood stars including Dev Patel from 'Slum dog Millionaire'. This show is extremely entertaining but not for the faint hearted.

Shameless (UK original)

Another great UK production along the same lines as Skins. This is based on a number of families who live in the worst area of Britain. Very few or none of them seem to have jobs or anything better to do than cause trouble. This makes for one of the best shows ever. Its dramatic ground breaking and just makes you laugh out loud. There was a US remake which even with some Hollywood superstars just doesn't live up to this original. It really is a shameless show.

Desperate Housewives

A chance to watch one of the most watched TV shows of all time, from the very beginning. This is an entertaining show and one that is mostly watched by women. However, most men wont admit it, but they do watch it here and there. Based in a picture perfect neighborhood, its clear from the start that there isn't one normal homestead on the block. Get ready for murders, fraud, affairs and deceit by the bucket load.
