New Releases On Netflix Streaming In April 2015
Netflix keeps a close tab on what they're adding to their site each month. They typically don't announce what they are going to release until a few weeks before. The reason for this is that they're in constant negotiations for licensing rights, this is the same reason you will also see titles disappear from Netflix's streaming library.
A common complaint is that Netflix doesn't have many newer releases. You can often find new releases at Redbox or your local video store if you still have one. The reason for this is companies charge a lot more money for streaming rights than they do to purchase a DVD you then rent. It's how Netflix originally made their money; in the DVD market.
That said, there's still quite a bit to watch on Netflix streaming if you know where to look and keep abreast of their new releases.
Netflix releases new material on Tuesdays and typically announces 3 weeks out what they plan on having on their site. This site will be updated as new information becomes available.
New release information for April should be posted available on or around 3/24/15 so check back then for the most up to date information.
Daredevil April 10th
The biggest thing coming to Netflix in April is the release of their original series Daredevil.
The series stars Charlie Cox as Daredevil. All episodes are set to premiere on April 10, 2015 on Netflix streaming. The series will be comprised of 13 episodes and if it does well then a second season will be produced.
In addition, if Daredevil succeeds, Netflix has plans to produce other Marvel Comic series that will ultimately tied together.
Given the success of Netflix's other self produced shows, hope for Marvel's Daredevil are high.
Plan on being able to binge watch the series starting on April 10, 2015.

What's Your Favorite Netflix Original?
Netflix has climbed to the top of the streaming mountain by producing high quality, award winning original shows such as House of Cards, now in its 3rd season and Orange is the New Black.
In March they also added the excellent, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, produced and written by 30 Rock's Tina Fey.
Netflix has so many great original shows that if you only watch their original content it would be worth the cost of the monthly subscription. In addition, Netflix has many promising new shows in development that should be released in the coming year.
If you haven't seen it yet, stop what you're doing and go binge watch all three seasons, of House of Cards, starring an oily Kevin Spacey.
In addition to a Netflix subscription you should also consider using a free trial of their main competitor, Amazon Prime. For a yearly subscription price Amazon Prime offers many of the same shows and movies as Netflix does, and in addition you will receive two day shipping on most items purchased through Amazon. As you likely know, you can buy pretty much anything on Amazon so the free shipping practically pays for the Amazon Prime yearly subscription.
Also, one interesting feature of Amazon Prime is their pilot program. Amazon makes several pilots of shows and then turns the one's that are the most popular into season long shows. Like Netflix, Amazon has figured out that producing their own high quality shows is a winning strategy.
You can get a free monthly trial subscription and watch two of Amazon's better shows, Alpha House and Transparent now available to stream on Amazon Prime.
