The hammer pictured above was discovered in a mine in Kingoodie Scotland. How did it get there?

Out of Place Artifacts-Mystery Objects

There are mysterious objects in museums and private collections that seem to be many thousand of years older than they possibly could be. We call these anomalous objects anachronisms and ooparts. We know that man discovered the use of metal less than 10,000 years ago-how can you explain metal tools found buried in stone many thousands of years old? It's a mystery.

Did ancient man have the ability to fly? If not, why did the Inca build the giant Nazca lines or ancient Britons carve the giant white white horse on a hillside near Uffington, England? Both can only be seen clearly from high above. The Nazca lines even suggest the shape of aviation runways or direction markers. Mysterious and strange things, indeed.

Oopart Mystery Object Revealed

Ancient Electricity?

Did the ancient peoples have and used electricity? What appears to have been ancient chemical batteries have been discovered in the middle east. Also known as the Parthian battery, these mysterious objects are thought to have been used in ancient times by the Mesopotamians to electroplate copper or gold on jewelry. Did the cultures of the ancient world have more sophisticated technology than was previously thought to exist?

I love anomalies; things that don't add up, makes us re-think what we assume. Modern man is way too arrogant to think early civilizations were nuckle-dragging primitives. I vpted UP and Awesome.
