Director Bart Freundlich of the David Duchovny sex-crazed Showtime series “Californication,” directs this romantic comedy that is definitely worth watching, guys will enjoy it too!
Sandy (Catherine Zeta-Jones: “Traffic,” “The Terminal”) is a newly divorcee who moves into the city with her children and start over again. She gets a job, and a new chance at happiness -- with a very much younger man, a 25 year old to be exact, Aram Finklestein (Justin Bartha, “The Hangover,” “National Treasure”), a coffee shop employee. Sandy is in her early 40, but does age really matter?
He becomes her nanny or “manny” as some people call it when a guy is a caretaker, and she starts to fall for him. Her children love him, and he’s really more of a father to them than their own father – is very caring and cooks! He soon becomes more than a her children’s nanny, he becomes her lover, and soon, she introduces him to friends and co-workers, and they are even surprised that this guy isn’t a typical 24 year old – soon to be 25; he’s smart, funny, and just the thing she needs in her life.
Their relationship starts to get too surreal to Sandy, and she makes a decision that will change her life and keep her mind wandering for the next 5 years. You’ll have to watch it to find out. But, do watch it, it’s a goodie! Check it out on Netflix now!
