You Can't Pick Your Relatives

Queen Elizabeth is said to be getting along famously with her new granddaughter-in-law, Meghan Markle. While Meghan brings pride to the Royals with her gracious demeanor, her father, on the other hand, has reportedly given the Royals a few cringe-worthy moments.

Thomas Markle has been making the rounds doing interviews ever since his daughter's wedding to Prince Harry. It is reported that Meghan has not seen or even talked to her father since her wedding day.

Thomas Markle Rocking Royal Boat?

Thomas Markle has given a few media outlets interviews. What Mr. Markle has to say seems to be all about Meghan and the Royal Family. The Royals pride themselves on keeping family things private. They are not ones to jump at tell-all interviews.

According to Marie Claire, Thomas Markle has sat for a 30-minute tell-all with Good Morning Britain. He then talked with TMZ and it was during that interview that he offered up some disparaging comments about Queen Elizabeth.

The Royal Family is said to be frustrated with Mr. Markle. This started when he posed for some pictures that made their way online. While he was paid for those pictures, Markle said he posed for them because all the other pictures that were online were embarrassing.

Meghan Markle Put in an Awkward Position

Meghan has taken on a lot to become part of the Royal Family and she gets enough slack from the media on a constant basis. The last thing she needs is a family member joining in and adding to the problem.

Whether Thomas Markle realizes it or not, he is putting his daughter in a rather awkward position. HIs daughter's wedding to Prince Harry has made him a celebrity in his own right, but what is he doing with that newfound fame?

It is known that he was paid to do the interview with the morning show in Great Britain, but what if anything he got for his TMZ interview has not been revealed.

Meghan Markle's Dad Compares Himself to Trump

According to another article from Marie Claire, Thomas Markle "dragged the Queen" in his TMZ interview. He conveys that the Queen's choice of meeting Trump and not him is a mistake.

Markle said during the interview, “If the Queen is willing to meet our arrogant and insensitive president she has no excuse not to meet me, I’m nowhere near as bad."

Could it be that his daughter's new lot in life has given her father reason to believe he's moved up a few steps on the social ladder?

After all, he just compared himself to the President of the U.S., who is an important man for the Queen to meet with when it comes to world politics. Markle, on the other hand, is just a relative by marriage.
