Blue Ember - "Shanghai"
This specific single was chosen today because it was created by some college acquaintances of mine. Blue Ember has been thriving in the Portland, Oregon scene for a while now, and their brand new single, "Shanghai", is living, rocking proof. The feel-good pop/rock melody, backed by excellent instrumentation, makes for a catchy, need-to-be-heard summer anthem. These musicians are a great group of guys who adore their fans, and it shows in their music. I can't wait for their next album; I'm sure it will be nothing short of amazing.
