The lives of all the Royal members is so interesting that everyone wants to know about them But a few people know about strange rules every royal have to follow in their daily life. So I am gonna tell you all about these strange rule that the royals follow. So, lets get started...
Rules For Sitting:
All the royal ladies are told to sit properly. No royal lady can sit while crossing her legs. If they feel uneasy, they can cross their legs at ankles.
Rules For Standing Next To The Queen:
Whenever the royals are standing together for getting photographed, their is a specific order of who will stand next to who. Actually, they stand in order of succession. Next to Queen Elizabeth is her husband Prince Phillip. Then comes Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Parker, then Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton and at last comes Prince Harry and Princess Meghan Markle.
Playing Monopoly Is A Crime:
All the royal members are told that they cannot play monopoly because sometimes, the fights become real during playing monopoly and Queen Elizabeth wants peace between all the members of the royal family.
Start With The Queen And End With Her:
All the members of the royal family are told to start eating their food as soon as the Queen starts eating her food and stop eating your food when the Queen is done.
Who Will Talk To The Queen?
During Dinners, there is a specific order about who will talk to the Queen and when. Once, Lewis Hamilton met the Queen and they were having dinner. There were a lot of people present there. Lewis Hamilton did not know about this rule and he started talking to the Queen when he was not supposed to talk. Soon, a staff member came and told him to keep quiet and when the Queen talks to him, only then, he will be supposed to talk. Actually, during the first dinner course, Queen Elizabeth talks to the person who is sitting on her right side and during second dinner course, she talks to the person who is sitting on her right side.
All Of Them Have Four Names:
All the male members of the royal family have four names. For example, Prince Harry's real name is Harry Charles Albert David. Similarly, Prince William's Real Name is William Arthur Phillip Louis.
One Specific Flower Is Necessary In Every Wedding Bouquet:
In every royal wedding, there are different designs and sizes of the wedding bouquet but one thing that is common in all the bouqets is that they all contain some "Myrtle Flowers". It is actually plucked freshly from Queen Victoria's ancient garden which is about more than 170 years old.
No Last Name Is Allowed:
I know that it sounds really strange but all the male members of the royal family are not allowed to use their last names. They actually use their titles as their last names. In fact when Prince George was enrolled in school, his name was written as George Cambridge and not as George William.
Never Tell Anyone That It Is A Boy Or A Girl:
When a normal couple is expecting, everyone wants to know whether it is a boy or a girl but when a royal couple is expecting, the speculations about the gender of the baby comes to another level. Even bets are placed on whether the royal baby will be a boy or a girl. But what is more interesting is that the royal couple is strictly told not to tell anyone about the gender of the baby.
Do Not Touch Any Royal:
The guests who meet the royal family are ordered not to touch any royal. No shaking of hands with the royal family is allowed unless they want to shake hands with the guests.
Rules For Baptism Dress:
The royals are very particular about the baptism dress. A specially designed dress is used for the new born babies. This dress was in use since 1841. As we all know that any dress which is used so many times and is so old gets faded. So in 2015, Queen Elizabeth ordered the royal tailors to stitch a brand new frock for Princess Charlotte and in this way she is the first new born member of the royal family to wear this dress. And from now on, all the baby girls who will be born in the royal family will wear this frock on the baptism event.
