Sunny Leone, born as Karenjit Kaur Vohra in Canada, has lived the dream of transforming to a successful mainstream bollywood Actress.

Sunny Leone grew up in a sikh punjabi family in Canada. She used to play street hockey with boys when she was kid, at a nearby lake from her house. Here parents enrolled her in a catholic school to make sure she is well brought up and safe.

Sunny Leone has her first kiss at the age of 11 and lost her virginity at the age of 16 to a basketball player from another school.

She Graduated from school in 1999 and then went to college.

How it all began ?

Sunny Leone though born in a conservative sikh family was very passionate in nature and discovered it at the age of 18.

While studying to be a pediatric nurse, here friend introduced Sunny Leone to John Stevens, who introduced her to the penthouse photographer Jay Allen.

Sunny Leone was then offered a photo-shoot for the penthouse magazine and she desirably accepted the offer. She then became the penthouse pet of the month on March 2001 and then went on passionately to become penthouse pet of the year in 2003.

Sunny Leone's life took the major turn, when she was offered a contract from Vivid Entertainment. She accepted the offer and then there was no turning back.

It all began with the reality TV show Big Boss, Sunny Leone entered the Big Boss house as a co-contestant after 49 days, in 2011.

She although didn't win the show, but became talk of the town, with her fans flowing in twitter, and enormous search hits in google.

Sunny Leone's Fan following Quadrupled in twitter in just two days and Google quoted saying, search for Sunny Leone almost experienced a breakout.

It was then, famous Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt stepped into the Big Boss house to offer Sunny Leone the role of lead Actress in his upcoming film Jism2.

Sunny Leone readily accepted the offer and Jism2 was released in August 3, 2012.

The movie opened to mixed comments from critics but was a commercial success and Sunny Leone's fan club gained with enormous population.

April 14 2012, Sunny Leone gained Indian citizenship.

She has now signed for Ekta Kapoor's Ragini MMS sequel and will also be doing her first Item number Dance move in the movie Shootout at Wadala
