Top Trending Rapper in the World

A poor kid from the slumps of Brooklyn, New York City to 21 year old rapper with the most #1 hits on The Billboard List. Daniel Hernandez, known as Tekashi69 later changed to 6ix9ine, was born on May 8, 1996 to a Mexican Mother and Father. As said by 6ix9ine himself he was dirt poor growing up in Brooklyn and struggled with serious family issues as a child. As a result, this lead him to stop caring for a time and falling into criminal behavior. However, 6ix9ine always knew this wasn't going to be his life forever and he was going to change for his passion for music.

Fastest Rise to Fame in The Music

The kid who used to wear shoes from the trash to prisoner, to now multimillionaire by the age of 21 years of age.

Early Life Struggles

6ix9ine was only the age of 13, when his father was murdered in the streets in cold blood. The police say it was a random act of violence, common the streets of Brooklyn. Left with only his mother and older brother to care and love. Big toll on 6ix9ine's mental and physical health. He was later kicked out of school and never returned, dealing with to much depression and post-traumatic stress to focus. Out of school and need for money to support his small family. 6ix9ine became a product of his environment and find himself in Riker's Island Jail.

Riker's Island is notorious jail in New York known for gangs and dangerous prisoners. 6ix9ine's criminal activities and charges consisted of selling cannabis and heroin to make a buck. When 6ix9ine was incarcerated he was introduced to the Nine Trey Gangster Bloods, a criminal organization with a deep structure in New York City, known for crimes of robbery to even murder. Upon his release he continued to hang around the Bloods and in a sense joined the gang for protection. However, we later discovered it's much deeper and complicated.

6ix9ine's Music Career and Rise

When 6ix9ine was released his music career had already started and he was quite known in the New York Rap scene. However, he wanted to appeal to a greater audience in gangsta rap and for that he need some serious protection. And that's what the Nine Trey Gangsters Bloods provided, protection and a larger appeal to the world of gangsta rap. Many original rappers and old school rappers were gang member, which was what the listeners of gangsta rap wanted. The listeners want to listen to a real rapper who actually lived that live and wasn't just making lyrics up for his sole benefit. Everybody wants the material they are invested in to be true and real. 6ix9ine knew this and went head first into creating this image.

He completely accepted this lifestyle to the fullest, by even tattooing his face with numerous tattoos of the number "69". His music also began to blow up with all the buzz of his gang ties and the persona he displayed to the world. In 2017, he released "Gummo" which reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Platinum certified. Worldwide listeners of all ages were representing his music. A mixtape was quickly released with 4 more songs on the Billboard Chart. The rise to fame for 6ix9ine is here.

Struggles are Over

6ix9ine is now the 2 percent of the world! His hard work and dedication has now payed off. He is making close to 100,000 dollars for every show; 15 shows a month. His shows were absolutely crazy and the buzz of the world. 6ix9ine is the epitome of rags to riches. Becoming very wealthy but always with the heart to give back to his community. As previously said 6ix9ine wore clothes and shoes from the trash to school every year to now being able to provide for his daughter, mother, and the struggling kids his community. This 21 year old kid is changing the world slowly with his heart and love for music. 6ix9ine is a persona for the audience, Daniel Hernandez is the struggling kid who found his passion.
