The Daily Movie Quote: Fight Club
"Welcome to Fight Club. The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: you DO NOT talk about Fight Club! Third rule of Fight Club: if someone yells "stop!", goes limp, or taps out, the fight is over. Fourth rule: only two guys to a fight. Fifth rule: one fight at a time, fellas. Sixth rule: the fights are bare knuckle. No shirt, no shoes, no weapons. Seventh rule: fights will go on as long as they have to. And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight." - Tyler Durden, Fight Club (1999)
Twentieth Century Fox, rated R, 139 minutes.

Brad Pitt - Tyler Durden

Synopsis: An insomniac and a questionable soap salesman form an aggression based club that catches on and, eventually becomes an organization bent on bringing down the establishment.
Fact: Brad Pitt and Edward Norton are really intoxicated when they're hitting golf balls.
Trivia: Tyler Durden's image has five subliminal flashes in the film before he actually makes his first appearance.
Movie Mistake: When Lou is punching Tyler the blood on his face disappears and reappears.
My Take: I went with a Fincher film because I saw, arguably, the best film of the year in The Social Network, which he directed. What a great trippy movie! Fight Club was the second of Fincher's films where I was completely blown away, with the other being Se7en (I'm saving that quote for a special occasion). This is a must see and a cult classic, just make sure you have a strong stomach.
