The Daily Movie Quote: Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

"If the milk turns out to be sour, I ain't the kinda pussy to drink it." - Rory Breaker, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998)
Summit Entertainment, 107 minutes
Directed By: Guy Ritchie
Cast:
Nick Moran - Eddy
Jason Flemyng - Tom
Dexter Fletcher - Soap
Jason Statham - Bacon
Vinnie Jones - Big Chris
Sting - JD
Domestic Box Office Gross: $3,897,569
Synopsis: Four lads find themselves in a whole lot of trouble when Eddy loses a rigged card game involving Hatchet Harry. With only a few days to get the money owed, everything goes awry with stolen drugs and antique guns, gangster neighbors and two enforcers named Big Chris and Barry the Baptist. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels wraps it all up as the action moves towards a fun, exciting, bullet filled climax.
Fact: The F-word is used a 125 times.
Trivia: Big Chris's line when bashing in Dog's head is "Never, ever in my life, has anyone been as f@#king rude to me, as you, Dog! F@#king bastard!"
Movie Mistake: The closing scene, Tom has long hair that he tries to conceal with a wool cap. This was a re-shoot and Jason refused to cut his hair.
My Take: This is one of the top three movies to come out of the 90's and by far Guy Ritchies best film. It's very difficult to juggle multiple story lines, not to mention make them work and tie them together in the end. Guy Ritchie pulls it off in a fast paced, shoot'em up, action flick that just has you sitting back and saying 'WOW!'
