Synopsis: A young FBI cadet must interview a renowned, brilliant psychopath in an attempt to find insight into, and hopefully capture a serial killer that is skinning it's victims.
Fact: The slurping sound at the end of this quote was improvised, meant as a joke and was supposed to be cut from the film until Demme realized the power of it.
Trivia: Buffalo Bill was based on three real serial killers Ed Gein, Ted Bundy and Gary Heidnick.
Movie Mistake: A young Clarice Starling has brown eyes while a grown Clarice has blue eyes.
My Take: One of three movies I've seen in my life that stayed with me for years after seeing it. It is considered a "horror" movie but for me I felt it was more of a psychological thriller because my psyche was altered after seeing it. What an amazing flick!
