Synopsis: You really need a synopsis, seriously? It's Star Wars for Pete's sake! Alright then. Princess Leia is taken prisoner by the evil Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire, but not before she stores valuable information on how to destroy the moon looking Death Star space station, inside R2D2, a robot. R2D2 and C-3PO, another robot, escape to a desert planet where the seek out an old Jedi master, Ben Obi-Wan Kenobi. They are subsequently captured by robot selling creatures, Jawas, and promptly sold to the Skywalker clan that has a dashing young fellow, named Luke, who finds a piece of the princesses message in R2D2. R2 escapes, Luke goes after him and they come across Obi-Wan who gets the entire message and they begin a crusade to rescue the princess and destroy the Empire, yada yada yada. I mean come on! It's Star Wars.
Fact: Alec Guiness despised his involvement in the Star Wars triology. He would throw away fan mail, without reading it as well as discourage children from seeing the film.
Trivia: The planet Tatooines name is never mentioned anywhere in the film.
Movie Mistake: My favorite was always how the stormtroopers uniforms convienently fit Han and Luke.
My Take: Every 25th Daily Movie Quote I'm gonna pull out a big gun and they just don't get any bigger than Star Wars. This film is impervious to time as children from every generation grow up loving the movie. I could go on, but really? I mean it's Star Wars!
