The Daily Movie Quote: Taxi Driver
"You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? You talkin' to me? Then who the hell else are you talking... you talking to me? Well I'm the only one here. Who the f%#k do you think you're talking to? Oh yeah? OK." - Travis Bickle, Taxi Driver (1976)

Synopsis: Travis Bickle, a mentally unstable man with insomnia, becomes increasingly disconnected and disgusted as he drives his cab in New York. While trying to date a senate aid and save an underage prostitute Travis reaches his boiling point with a violent conclusion.
Fact: Robert DeNiro drove a cab for a month in preparation for his role.
Trivia: Bruce Springsteen was the inspiration for the you talkin' to me scene. Springsteen came up with it at a concert when he was bantering with the audience.
Movie Mistake: The flowers Travis burns in the sink reappear when he's putting money in an envelope.
My Take: What can I say? This is a classic from one of the greatest directors ever. This film made a lot of careers and has one of the most repeated lines (see quote) in cinematic history.
