"The name's Lonnegan! Doyle Lonnegan! You're gonna remember that name or you're gonna get yourself a new game! You follow?" - Doyle Lonnegan, The Sting (1973)

Universal Pictures, Rated PG, 129 minutes.

Directed By: George Roy Hill

Paul Newman - Henry Gondorff

Robert Redford - Johnny Hooker

Robert Shaw - Doyle Lonnegan

Charles Durning - Lt. William Snyder

Ray Walston - J.J. Singleton

Eileen Brennan - Billie

Domestic Box Office Gross: $159,616,327

Synopsis: Two men seek revenge on a local mob boss, who murdered a mutual friend, by putting together an elaborate con with numerous twists and turns to bring him down.

Fact: Robert Redford never saw this film until 2004.

Trivia: The diner used in The Sting is the same diner used in Back to the Future and it sits in the Universal back lot.

Movie Mistakes: The beer bottles being served at the poker game are empty.

My Take: This was on my list of must sees for ever and when I saw it I was really glad I did. It's a fun movie that never slows down and keeps you entertained throughout. If you haven't seen The Sting I highly recommend it.

On my list of all-time favourites. How I'd love to forget the ending and enjoy it all over again. Superb.
