The Daily Movie Quote: Twilight
"I'd never given much though to how I would die. But dying in place of someone I love, seems like a good way to go. I can't bring myself to regret the decisions that brought me face to face with death. They also brought me to Edward." - Bella Swan, Twilight (2008)

Synopsis: Awkward, teenage girl, Bella Swan moves to a small rainy town in Washington only to fall in love with a vampire, Edward Cullen. The relationship takes a turn for the worse when other vampires become interested in her nutritional value. Alternative synopsis, acording to every teenage girl alive, the greatest love story ever!
Fact: At nearly $70 million dollars, Twilight was the biggest box office opening for a female director.
Trivia: All of the Cullen's are adorning some piece of jewelry with the same symbol on it.
Movie Mistake: Rosalie's hair roots come and go throughout the film.
My Take: Being a straight, adult male I can tell you that the Twilight book series is pretty fricken awesome. The movies, I think, are the best that they can be given the circumstances, so it's hard to bag on them completely. I will, however, bag on whoever made the not so brilliant move of casting Jackson Rathbone as Jasper. I mean, seriously!? Jackson looks like he belongs in a circus or on a short bus, but definitely does not belong in the films.
