"My wife, the creature that ate Europe, is here." - Dr. Fritz Fasbender, What's New Pussycat (1965)

Famartists Productions, Rated Approved, 108 minutes.

Directed By: Clive Donner & Richard Talmadge

Cast:

Peter O'Toole - Michael James

Peter Sellers - Dr. Fritz Fassbender

Woody Allen - Victor

Ursula Andrews - Rita

Romy Schneider - Carole

Capucine - Renee

Paula Prentess - Liz

Domestic Box Office Gross: $18,820,000

Synopsis: A well known philanderer, Michael James, is trying to stay faithful to his fiancee but has tremendous difficulty when every woman he crosses paths with falls in love with him. James's psychiatrist is of no use since he's trying to hook up with one of Michael's suitors.

Fact: This is Woody Allens screen debut.

Trivia: What's New Pussycat began as Warren Beatty's biography, with the title being Beatty's greeting at the time.

Movie Mistake: Dr Fassbender go's between go cart and horse in the barnyard scene.

My Take: The first half of the film is an A+ and the second half is a B- but if you average that out it's still an A-/B+ and definitely worth a viewing.
