The Dawning of the Age of Black And Brooks

I think we all are special and we like to think it was written in the stars for us. Maybe it was.

I wrote this article in 1992, and wanted to expose you to it.... Suffice it to say, Clint Black and Garth Brooks' careers were Written in the Stars! Can you say, Aquarius?

Black & Brooks

Does CLINT BLACK know he is AQUARIUS to the CORE?

Does GARTH BROOKS know he is almost AQUARIUS to the CORE?

Born 3 days apart, these two Country Music Stars were born during the GREAT AQUARIAN ECLIPSE-CONJUNCTION. Clint Black, born Feb. 4, 1962, right on; Garth Brooks, on the edge, Feb. 7, 1962, of the astronomical event when all planets except Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, moved into almost perfect alignment in the sign of Aquarius - Feb. 4th & 5th, 1962.

I am not an astrologer, but I do have a strong interest in Astrology and have been studying it sporadically for many years. Somewhere in my studies, I read that a child born between Feb. 3 - 6, 1962 would bear watching, as they would be bright and talented children. Astrologer, Joseph F. Goodavage wanted folks to let him know of the birth of a child during this time.

As I was glancing over an article about Clint Black, recently, in a magazine, a little square up in the corner told his vital statistics, and 'Feb. 4, 1962' leaped off the page and slammed me right in the eyeballs! Now, those figures were the same size as all the rest, but it was like I was being told something. This sort of thing happens to me enough that I've learned not to ignore it, but to find out WHY this is important. Being a birthdate, I naturally assumed it had something to do with Astrology, so I started scanning my books on that subject, and of course, found the information on the conjunction. In my excitement at finding out Clint Black was born Feb. 4, 1962 - I started wondering about some of our other bright new stars and was not totally surprised to find Garth Brooks was born Feb. 7, 1962.

Mother Nature Gave them a Double-Whammy!

If you're wondering what this actually means, consider this - everything you've ever heard about an Aquarian is magnified 5 and 6 times over in these two men.

Aquarius - associated with Uranus - as unique as metal, uranium! They are electric, their color is electric blue. Aquarians are sudden, like a bolt out of the blue, creating attention through the unexpected. Isn't that what these two stars have done, and attained near-instantaneous stardom? They surely are responsible for some of the greatest new music coming out of Nashville!

As near as I can chart them, Clint Black's and Garth Brooks' Horoscopes are identical, except for the position of their Moon. Since I do not know the time of their births, I cannot chart their Ascendent or Rising Sign, and I do not have any information on Pluto, or charts for Mercury. However, Mercury would be in one of these three signs - Capricorn, Aquarius, or Pisces. Garth Brooks has Moon in Aries. The rest of the planets of both men are in Aquarius! These include Sun, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. Keep in mind, Clint Black also has Moon in Aquarius.

The position of the Moon rules Personality, so since they have different Moon Signs, they could have altogether different personalities. However, they certainly both have the same talents!

Aquarians don't mind losing, but they don't want to suffer in loss. Look at Clint Black's song, 'Better Man'.

'...leavin' here a better man, things I couldn't do before, now I think I can...' He lost in love, but still has respect for the relationship - and a #1 hit recording. I dare say he's not suffering much! His first album, including, 'Better Man', 'Killin' Time' (title cut), 'Walkin' Away', 'Nobody's Home', and 'Nothin's News, already went Platinum! He's played a sold-out performance in the Houston Astrodome! He's performed in Las Vegas to a packed ballroom at Caesar's Palace! Not to mention, 'walked away' with a few awards already! He can perform at my Palace anytime. I should be able to fit 50 people in here without crowdin'.

Where Aquarius is concerned a grand failure is better than a petty success. In Garth Brooks' eyes, he left Nashville in a grand failure on his first try - re-grouped and went back a year or so later, and the rest is history! He gains his musical roots from his mother, Colleen Carrol, a regular on Red Foley's Ozark Jubilee in the '50's. Bob Hope calls Garth Brooks one of the best showmen of all the newcomers. Garth's songs include, his first #1 'If Tomorrow Never Comes', 'Much Too Young to Feel This Damn Old', 'Not Counting You, the heart-wrentching song, 'The Dance', who's video shows scenes of John Kennedy with his young family, Martin Luther King, and the ill-fated space shuttle. His brand new follow-up song, is a get-down, shootin' from the hip song, 'I've Got Friends in Low Places'! '...think I'll slip on down to the Oasis...'

If you're wondering if the two know each other, they do. They've played 3 dates together, along with Ricky Van Shelton, one of them being the Tulsa State Fair, that broke previous crowd records. Of course, RVS may have had something to do with that, but the fact remains, Clint and Garth do know each other. I'd like to know their reactions to each other. Krisie thinks they look alike - I'm not commenting on that, but they are both drop-dead good-looking.

I've always thought Randy Travis and Ricky Van Shelton were running dead heat. In looking at Clint Black and Garth Brooks, it will be interesting to see how 'dead heat' they run! I truly believe these two 'super-star' talented young men have ONLY JUST BEGUN!

Now 20 Plus Years Later...

...To be continued (after more research) SOON.

...not yet....but it is curious. Clint Black has all but disappeared, and Garth, who only needs one name seems to be splashing all over again.
