Chunk Confesses Everything To The Fratellis Video Clip

The Goonies

I don't know what to say about the Goonies, but that it is one of my favourite films of all time, remembering that my aunty took me to see it with my brother at the cinema, many years ago, it is just one of them films that is remembered for it's charm and family friendly story and a film all about friendship.

The story pretty much sets the scene for itself really where a group of friends call themselves the Goonies and plan a last goonie weekend together before their town is demolished to make way for a golf course by the rich developers, but they find a long lost treasure map in Mikeys dads attic, which leads them to an old run down restaurant where the disgusting people, you may have heard of them, the Fratellis are hiding out after busting one of them out of prison.

And it's through a series of events that they go underground on an adventure to find one eyed willy's treasure. There are a few highlights and classic moments of this film and the best moments are in the videos below.

Chunk Is By Far The Top Character In This Film

Even though it tries to focus on Mikey, it's Chunk that is the centrepiece joke of the film, and he has some classic scenes that is just really memorable "Hey, I smell ice cream" and "it's a stiff"

The Goonies is just one of them films that really struck a chord with me as a child as it focuses on friendship and this is what me and a group of friends were like as kids, although not going out in search of one eyed willy's treasure or anything, just hanging out causing a bit of trouble here and there.

I suppose as a child, I would have been a mix of Chunk's character and data ,because even though datas inventions seem rubbish now back then they were cool and I tried desperately to find somewhere that sold slick shoes, but it didn't happen.

Anyway Goonies rule!!

The Goonies is easily the best kids movie of all time. I still remember getting chills the first time I watched it when the pirate skull appeared on screen before the opening credits. And unlike a lot of old movies, The Goonies holds up really well.
