The Great Escape Artist: Jane's Addiction

Album Review
Eight years have passed but now they are back together and headlining the music scene again. Jane’s Addiction is back with another studio album release since 2003. Their newest album titled, The Great Escape Artist, has once again proven that these music veterans still know how to rock.
I was never really a big Jane’s Addiction fan but have recently rediscovered this band. I love when I kind of forget about certain bands I remember listening to briefly earlier in my life, and rediscovering their music and becoming more of a fan. I have recently done that with Jane’s Addiction. I decided to go ahead and buy the new album and I must say I was not disappointed at all. In fact, because of the new album I have gone on to purchase all their other albums.
It hasn’t been since Strays since Jane’s Addiction has released another studio album. To me when I think about alternative rock, there is not better band that represents that term than Jane’s Addiction. The Great Escape Artist offers a lot of great music for fans of the past and present. I heard Underground which was their hit single for this album and I really loved it. The album offers so much great alternative music and even reminds you just how great this band really is. This album gives music listeners a variety of great rock music. Some songs are a little heavier than other songs, which I think balances the album out. From the first track to the last track this album does not let down in any way. I really enjoy driving to this album because it is great music to jam out when on the road. If you are a fan of Jane’s Addiction I highly recommend giving the new album a listen.
