Jai Ho : Meaning "may you be victorious", this blockbuster in the making stars Salman Khan, Daisy Shah and Tabu. Directed by Sohail Khan, this movie is a remake of the Telugu Movie Stalin starring Chiranjeevi.Soon to be released in January, this has Salman's fans eagerly awaiting its release.

It tells the story of one man standing up against the corrupt and encouraging others to join in his fight. In a sense it is I help you, You help another and so on till a large number of people stand up against the villain.

Kochadaiyaan: This is one movie that has everyone looking forward to its release. For on it stars the legendary Rajanikanth in a Triple role. It also stars Sharathkumar and Deepika Padukone. It is the first Indian movie made using the 3D motion capture technology.the same technology used in Hollywood movie Avataar. This film has been directed by Rajnikanth's daughter Soundarya.

With the massive fan following this superstar has, this movie is bound to create history. If his previous release Robot and the hysteria it created is anything to go by, then this movie is slated to be a path breaker both in terms of technology used and the record collections envisaged.

Happy New Year: A biggie starring Shahrukh Khan and the darling of the masses Deepika Padukone as also Abhishek Bachchan. Directed by Farah Khan who is directing Shahrukh after a long time. They had an ugly spat and decided not to work together again.

With the hit pair and Farah at the helm, this movie promises a rollicking time for everyone.

P.K: Directed by the Hit Maker Rajkumar Hirani who gave Three Idiots, this film has Aamir Khan,Sanjay Dutt, Sushant Singh Rajput and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.

Six years after 3 Idiots, Rajkumar Hirani comes back with this movie. A good entertainer on the cards.

Bombay Velvet: Bringing together Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, this film has been directed by Anurag Kashyap. So the combination of Ranbir and Anurag have two films lined up for release this year.

This is a retro film that Bombay of the 60s and Ranbir plays a Streetfighter.

Shaadi ke Side Effects: This sequel to Love ka Side Effects, has Farhan Akthar and Divya Balan in the lead roles.It is the story of Trisha and Sid the lead players, after marriage and babies. It is modern day take on today's family situations in metroes.

Phantom: Starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif,all the excitement takes place in the middle east.This has been unexplored territory as far as Hindi films go.

Bhootnath Returns: An Amitabh film after some time, it is again a sequel to Bhootnath.In the previous version, Amitabh plays a ghost who befriends a boy and they help each other out of difficult situations.

It is a Comedy/ horror film in the same genre as its predecessor, which was highly appreciated by children.

Detective Byomkesh Bakshi: A story of the Bengali detective by the same name, this film has Sushanth Singh essaying the lead role.The exploits of the detective is well known and hence this film promises to be a rollicking whodunit.

Jagga Jasoos: Has the current heartthrob Ranbeer Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. This movie has been directed by Anurag Basu who is known to be highly creative.

A thorough potboiler with the right mix of comical crime detection, high voltage action and drama.

2 States: The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Chetan Bhagat. Starring two youngsters Alia Bhat and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles and directed by Abhishek Varman.

This movie is partly a biopic, telling a tale of two people coming from two different parts of India wanting to get married. How they overcome the obstacles and convince their parents to agree for the union is what forms the story.

Welcome Back: The sequel to Welcome a zany comedy released some time ago. This stars Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and John Abraham. The lone leading lady being Shruthi Hassan.

If the previous film by the same team( except John Abraham) is anything to go by then expect some bizarre sequences and laughter inducing scenes. A total masala package.
