The Aftermath !!!

Updated on August 11, 2015

The Monster Concert Experience, Eminem & Rihanna.

" Guess who back, Back again, Shady's back, tell a Friend; Guess who's back, Guess who's back.. I've created a monster, cause nobody wants to see Marshall no more. They want Shady, I'm chopped liver; Well if you want Shady, this is what I'll give ya "

Eminem who goes by the name of Slim Shady is back, as if he ever left. The Artist who's real name is Marshall Mathers, best known for his songs "The Real Slim Shady", "Lose yourself " and for his major role in 8 mile, holds a total of thirteen Grammy Awards and is considered number 82 of the top "100 Greatest Artists of All Time", according to Rolling Stones and other magazines. Eminem who recently released his 8th studio Album Entitled; "Marshall Mathers LP 2" on November 5th of 2013, set out to go on tour alongside the world's R&B princess, Rihanna. The two worked on a number of songs together including "The Monster", "Love the way you lie" and " Numb".

Their collaboration was one of the most highly anticipated Tour's of the year: The Monster Tour. The Monster Tour began August 7th 2014 where they hit the big stage in Pasadena, California at Rose bowl as their first stop. Here is the Aftermath of The Monster Tour Concert at Metlife Stadium, August 16th &17th 2014. As lines formed, door opened around 6pm where people came in groves. An hour before the show, lines wrapped around the stadium to buy Monster Tour merchandise; where Eminem flag snapbacks and Rihanna T-shirts were sold. The stadium grew packed by the minute. Around 8pm the lights dimmed and the crowd began screaming. Rihanna who is signed to Roc Nation, has graced the covers of countless magazines, winning seven Grammy's in total, and she is known for gaining massive success after her songs "Pon de Replay", "Don't Stop the Music", "Take a Bow" and "Umbrella". Rihanna has become one of the most loved and influential singer of her time, and after releasing her Album "Unapologetic" in 2012. The artist headlined five major tours including Good Girl Gone bad and Diamonds tour.

"Ecstasy.... in the air, I don't care, Can't tell me nothing, I'm impaired, No words for wear; Cause Im going Numb, Im going Numb, Im going Numb, Im going Numb... (Let the champagne splash, Let that man get cash). Can’t you see, Ain’t it clear; I don't care. Get closer to me, If you dare; I double dare "

As lights flashed the show started with a clip of Eminem being locked away, with only Rihanna there to save him, Eminem was tied down on a table in what seemed to be a stray jacket, as he emerged from the lower level of the stage. "I'm the siren that you hear, I'm the butt police, And I'm looking at your rear, rear, rear; But odds are I'mma end up in the back of a squad car, By the end of tonight, I'm a rock star". Numb was the opening song, where Rihanna took over the stage singing," Im going Numb" ..fans began singing along and rocking with it. Eminem rapped his verse and followed up with one his songs, "Crack a bottle", The crowd went Berzerk, which was one of Eminem's songs rapped later in the concert. Rihanna began doing her set, singing " Run this town tonight", "Live your life", "What Now", "Birthday cake", "Whats my name", and "Pour it Up", where people in the crowd began tossing dollar bills in the air. The stadium was turnt up. Rihanna sang "Umbrella" and "All of the lights" when the stage was filled with talently sick guitarist strumming to Rihanna as she transitioned to sing "Rockstar". "Hey baby ima rockstar". Rihanna delivered an indulgently mind blowing experience. Her connection to the audience was unreal, and felt very much angelic during her song "Stay", where fans were asked to hold up there cell phones as the crowd began moving from side to side.

Later Eminem returned to the stage, hoodied up with his army fatigue shorts, as he rapped his verse to " Love the way you lie", followed by a line of songs such as "Business", “Kill You, “Evil Deeds, "Toy soldiers" and “Rap God”, which has become one of his most commended singles from the (MMLP2) Album. On stage Eminem's energy was immeasurable, each verse he spit was just as fast as we have known it to be and neither did Mr. Slim Shady ever stop, as he went from one rap to the next. Fans screamed frantically and you could feel how much the audience resonated with Slim Shady. Many view Eminem as one of the best Hip Hop Artists Alive and according to Billboard Magazine he was noted as the Artist of the Decade in the year 2009. The concert made you feel as if your struggles, and successes were a reflection of Eminem's as well. Eminem drew us into his Journey, his life, his past and his future. He later told the crowd that these songs were for anyone who ever struggled with addiction in their lives, seeing that the Rapper himself had overcome his own demons with the substance. Eminem went hard; performing, "Marshall Mathers"," Just dont give a f**", "The way I am", "Berzerk", "Sing for the Moment", " Without Me" and one of his loved verses from Drake's song " Forever".

"There they go, packin' stadiums as Shady spits his flow, Nuts they go, Macadamia they go, so ballistic, whoa; He can make them look like bozos, He's wondering if he should spit this slow, f* no.. Go for broke, his cup just runneth over, oh no, He ain't had him a buzz like this, Since the last time that he overdosed, They been waiting patiently for Pinocchio to poke his nose; Back into the game and they know; Rap will never be same as before".

Rihanna and Em did a set of 50 songs over the course of two and a half hours. And During the latter part of the show Eminem rapped " Not Afraid".. The crowd were all on their feet, rapping along with every word. The song gave empowerment and hope. "I'm not afraid to take a stand, Everybody come take my hand; We'll walk this road together, through the storm, Whatever weather, cold or warm, Just letting you know that you're not alone". The last couple of songs that the two performed must have been the most meaningful that night; and the most felt by the audience. Rihanna joined Em as they closed the Concert out with four major songs, one of which was "Diamonds", where the crowd held up their hands in the shape of a diamond, also representing the Roc Symbol. The following songs were" "We found love", "Lose Yourself" and " The Monster". The Concert was one of the best performances to date.
