The Nun: Movie Preview
The Nun: Film Preview
Due Out: September 7, 2018
The Conjuring film from 2013 has been so widely successful that a prequel entitled Annabelle (2014), a sequel The Conjuring 2 (2016) and now the spin off: The Nun, starring Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story) is set to debut in theatres September 7th 2018. The film is directed by Corin Hardy (English film director; debut with horror film The Hallow in 2015) and written by Gary Dauberman.
Father Burke (Demain Bichir; Machete Kills) is sent from the Vatican along with to investigate the mysterious suicide death of a young nun in Romania. From the start, demonic forces take the shape of a nun and he and others are fighting for their lives to break free from the grasp of the supernatural force to stay alive.
The trailer for this film is beyond frightening, especially when artwork comes to life. This is no small-peas horror-thriller. Gary Dauberman has already more than proven that he can write extremely frightening material! It is definitely going to be one to add to your horror collection. Recently, Warner Bros. released imagery of Bonnie Aarons as the demonic nun, enough to give you nightmares.
If you haven’t checked out The Conjuring, Annabelle, and The Conjuring 2, now is the time to start a movie marathon. Charlotte Hope (Allied) also stars in the film and portrays Sister Victoria. This one looks scary as hell and will be a crazy way to start the fall 2018 horror flick genre. Hopefully, it will be just as fantastic as The Conjuring films! Check it out in theatres nationwide September 7, 2018.
