The Ridiculous 6-A Movie Review by Diana Pierce

If you love comedy and you love westerns, this is surely the movie for you. Released December 11, 2015 worldwide via Netflix, The Ridiculous 6 is just in time to bring entertainment to those about to be invaded by the traditional Christmas movies.

They surely left no stones unturned as they cast this hilarious piece of work. From old school talent to the newly less seasoned actors, The Ridiculous 6 has them all. This American film is directed by Frank Coraci and written by Tim Herlihy and Adam Sandler. Starring as the six lead title characters is Adam Sandler, Terry Crews, Jorge Garcia, Taylor Lautner, Rob Schneider and Luke Wilson. But that’s not the extent of the endless talent displayed in this film. Other actors such as Nick Nolte and David Spade add flair by offering a familiar face as well their expert performances. Even unique appearances like that of Vanilla Ice and Blake Shelton steal a laugh or two. And we think their musical talent is great. Who knew they can act too? This is only an example of a much larger array of talented people making this film possible.

The Ridiculous 6-Trailer

The story line sometimes is a bit far-fetched as the characters perform such off the wall cartoon like abilities. Considering that these six ridiculous fellows are half brothers and that all of them have the same father who is calling on them to save him from evil forces, they are completely different. You could assume their father had traveled far and wide as he romanced women from cultures not of his background. They run into many famous people along the way. They become occupied with the notion of becoming thieves in order to retrieve money fast enough to save their dad. All and all the only way to fully understand the comedy in this film is to watch it. Laugh and laugh again because they named this one right. It truly is ridiculous.

Don’t expect this to be like any other western you have ever seen. Don’t expect the comedy to be any less than ridiculous either. You won’t be disappointed.
