The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards Was an Outstanding Performance
The Temptations Review featuring Dennis Edwards, still captivates audiences with their record breaking, award winning hits. They revive memories through the performance of such hits as, Ball of Confusion, Papa Was A Rolling Stone, My Girl and Let It Rain. The #Temptation Review featuring Dennis Edwards, "Know how to generate wonderful memories as they entertain audiences around the globe. For more than 33 years Dennis Edwards, one of the last surviving members of the legendary group 'The Temptations' have been considered a giant in the music industry," stated Eagles Talent Speakers Bureau.
Edwards started performing at an early age and received major recognition after he replaced David Ruffin, as lead singer around 1968 within the immensely popular Temptations. "Its not all glitter and glam, show biz takes blood and sweat. To replace someone as great as David Ruffin, I had to come out with something super," explained Edwards. His career evolved with outstanding achievements of numerous inexorable hits. The Temptations won their first #Grammy Award, with Dennis Edwards, as their lead singer. "Concurrently, this award was also the first for #Motown Records. The award launched a succession of awards that culminated in 14(fourteen) Gold Albums, 7(seven) Grammy nominations and 5(five) Grammy awards." He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, along with sales of more than one hundred million throughout the world. An award winning movie was produced about the Temptations which featured the life story of Edwards, along with other members of this amazing group.
Dennis Edwards, maintained a solo career for awhile, before joining the Temptations Review which consists of such members as David Sea, Mike Pattillo, Chris Arnold and Paul Williams, Jr., son of one of the original Temptations. "The fans love to hear our hits. We can't get away from that. Listening to some of the Temptations songs brings back memories. For me, it has been a different meaning. Eddie, David, Paul and Melvin are gone now. Hearing their voices, I sometimes get emotional," stated Edwards. He then commented about how the number one hit Cloud Nine, won the Temptations their first Grammy, after he joined the group. Over the years, Dennis Edwards along with members of the Temptations Review, still compel and delight audiences with the performance of their major hits worldwide. Their music will continue to be a source of inspiration for generations to come.

Harold Melvin's Blue Notes Perform their Major Hits
#Harold Melvin's Blue Notes, are still one of the top world renown groups that exude a certain Philadelphia sound from the seventies. This group was formed by Harold Melvin, in 1954 and their hit such as Wake Up Everybody, continues to propel them into stardom with a new generation dazzled by their music. During an interview, one of the group's members Anthony Brooks, expressed how he felt when the Blue Notes, were asked to perform this song at the White House for #President Obama, in Washington, DC at the Inaugural Ball. Brooks, went on to admit, "My favorite Blue Note song is our signature song, the song used in President Obama's campaign, Wake Up Everybody." With so many problems in the world today, those words within this song still resonate within our communities. This was also the last album that Teddy Pendergrass, performed with the Blue Notes as lead singer before his death. Today, Donnell Gillespie, enthrall audiences with his powerful voice and swagger.
Harold Melvin died in 1997, but in honor of his commitment and dedication to the group, they continue to carry his name. The magnitude of talent John Morris as well as Rufus Thorn, demonstrate with Brooks and Gillespie, allows Harold Melvin's Blue Notes to continue to fascinate audience members with through their astute performances.
