Why I Like The Whispers

Updated on June 15, 2015

I just watched the first two episodes of The Whispers, and I really like the show so far. It might become one of the few shows I actually follow on live TV instead of when they come on Netlix.

In The Whispers, children now have a new imaginary friend named Drill who wants to play a game with them. However, after he convinced one kid to steal files from her father's work computer and convinced another to have her mother walk on loose floorboards of a treehouse, it becomes evident that Drill is a little more than an innocent imaginary friend. Meanwhile, the detective who is investigating this phenomenon finds out that her husband who died overseas is now considered missing. Now evidence has started implying that her husband is Drill.

I like the show so far. It's a mix of creepy with good writing. I like the multiple plot lines and there are definitely more plot lines in the works. It's definitely a good show to watch and I will definitely get more in this show than a lot of others. I have no idea what's going on, yet. I'm not even sure if it's science fiction or fantasy yet. But I love this. Shows that keep me guessing are the best and I know that when it does come on Netflix, I'll enjoy watching it again and seeing what I missed.
