The positive power of rock
I want to share my experience with you about music, that I can tell, make me out of global economic crisis. I’m not kidding with you. Speaking from personal experience. Those who have read some of my hubs already know. Yes I talk about Rock. ACDC is, may say, my favorite Rock band. AC/DC are an Australian rock band formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Band are classified as hard rock and are considered a pioneer of heavy metal. But they have always classified their music as rock and roll. They firs Album is High Voltage, released in 1975. There are several changes in band until his last album AC/DC: Iron Man 2 is set to release on April 19, 2010 only yesterday.
List of AC/DC members

Angus Young – lead guitar (1973–present)

Enough for the band. Let’s talk about the music that changed my life. There are four tracks that listening these few months of economic crisis. Bulgaria is still in this crisis, but not me. I'll tell you about them. Three of these songs are in the last album of the band. They are “T.N.T”, "Thunderstruck" "Highway to Hell". The last song in my list is single “Big Gun”. I’ill follow the tracks as the crisis unfolds.
1. "Thunderstruck"- Let’s have a look at the song lyrics!
“I was
caught
In the middle of a railroad track
I looked round
And I knew there was no turning back (Thunder)
My mind raced
And I thought what could I do (Thunder)
And I knew
There was no help, no help from you (Thunder)”
Let’s think about that part. I felt exactly that way in the beginning of the crisis. Things are going dizzy with the speed and I could not get away. Nobody can.
“Sound of the
drums
Beatin' in my heart
The thunder of guns
Tore me apart
You've been – thunderstruck”
Things grew worse in the political and economic plan. Fall panic skillfully enhanced by some people.
“Rode down the
highway
Broke the limit, we hit the town
Went through to Texas, yeah Texas
And we had some fun
We met some girls
Some dancers who gave a good time
Broke all the rules, played all the fools
Yeah, yeah, they, they, they blew our minds
I was shakin' at the knees
Could I come again please?
Yeah the ladies were too kind
CHORUS:
You've been - thunderstruck, thunderstruck
Yeah yeah yeah, thunderstruck”
Things have evolved with me this way. Except I found one girl. I married her. And I spend a really great time with her. We did a great wedding despite the crisis.
“Said yeah, it's
alright
We're doing fine
Yeah, it's alright
We're doing fine”
We’re really doing fine with my wife. The music of this band fills me with energy and I deal with everything alright.
2. "Highway to Hell"-This song continues the "Thunderstruck" for me.
Living easy
Loving free
Season ticket for a one way ride
Asking nothing
Leave me be
Taken everything in my stride
Don't need reason
Don't need rhyme
Ain't nothin' I would rather do
Going down
By the time
My friends are gonna be there too, eh
CHORUS:
I'm on a highway to hell
On the highway to hell
Highway to hell
I'm on the highway to hell
No stop signs
Speed limit
Nobody's gonna slow me down
Like a wheel
Gonna spin it
Nobody's gonna mess me 'round
Hey Satan
Paid my dues
Playin' in a rockin' band
Hey momma
Look at me
I'm on my way to the Promised Land, wooh
CHORUS:
I'm on the highway to hell
Highway to hell
I'm on the highway to hell
Highway to hell
Mmm, don't stop me
Eh,Eh,Eh
This song shows my status of first few months after the crisis. I stopped to worry and started to fight. Indeed, nothing could stop me. And here I am! I filled with optimism and my mind has changed. The rhythm of my life moved in the right direction.
3. “T.N.T”
“Oi, Oi, Oi, Oi,
Oi, Oi, Oi, Oi, Oi, Oi, Oi, Oi, Oi, Oi, Oi,
See me ride out of the sunset
On your color TV screen
Out for all that I can get
If you know what I mean
Women to the left of me
And women to the right
Ain't got no gun
Ain't got no knife
don't you start no fight
CHORUS:
'Cause I'm T.N.T. I'm dynamite
T.N.T. and I'll win the fight
T.N.T. I'm a power load
T.N.T. watch me explode!!!!!
I'm dirty, mean and mighty unclean
I'm a wanted man
Public enemy number one
Understand
So lock up your daughter
Lock up your wife
Lock up your back door
And run for your life
The man is back in town
So Don't you mess around”
Truly nothing could stop me even bad government policy. I felt that things are moving in the right direction. Even in our small country.
4.“Big Gun”
“Riot on the
radio
Pictures on the
TV
Invader man take
what he can
Shootout on the
silver screen
Sticking 'em up
and knocking 'em down
Living out a
fantasy
There's a bad
man cruising around
In a big black
limousine
Don't let it be
wrong
Don't let it be
right
Get in his way
You're dead in
his sights
CHORUS:
Big gun
Big gun number
one
Big gun
Big gun kick the hell out
of you
Terminators, Uzi
makers
Shootin' up
Hollywood
Snakes alive
with a .45
Setting off and
doing no good
If you ain't
wise they'll cannibalise
Tear flesh off you
Classified lady
killers
Prayin' in the
human zoo
They saddle you
up
And take you to
town
Better look out
When he come
around”- In the video of this song Arnold Shtwartseneger
this governor of California dance a
special Angus
Young dance. What more can you say! Listen to music, see beyond the
Lyrics and you'll understand. Lyrics sounds provocative and bandit , but
if you just listen, you will see. These songs tell
us that we have unlimited possibilities. These songs talk about our
American
Dream. This music can change your life. When you listen energy come into
you
body and you can handle anything. Listen to the chorus. It makes you
feel
capable of winning everything. What remains of an economic crisis? On
May 14, I
will be on their concert in Sofia with my wife because to me the crisis
is
over. Naturally, not only because their music but it fills me with
energy when
my mind is weak and worried. For this I recommend to everyone ACDC last
album.
Feel the energy with. ACDC Iron Man 2.
