Where the king is foolish the public have to pay for penalty there.

Chopat Raja was the king of Andher Nagri. It was the kingdom of fools. The king and the minister both were foolish. The people of that kingdom worked at night time and slept at day time. Everything it may costly or cheap was sold at the rate of per Takka.

Once a Guru and his disciple came into Andher Nagri. They saw there was no one, because it was day time and the people of Andher Nagri slept at day time. The disciple was impressed at this Nagri as costly eatable things rate was only one Taka. The cheapest things rate was also one Takka.

The Guru made-up his mind to leave this Nagri. To him, pit was always dangerous to stay among them. The disciple felt that this place was the cheapest place. He could eat whatever and how much he wanted by paying only one Takka. So he stayed there. The Guru left the kingdom.

Once a thief broke into the house, he stole the things. While he was returning the wall fell upon him and he died. Now the thief's brother went to the king. He blamed the wall owner that he had not made solid wall. The king called the owner of that house. He charged him of this crime.

The owner of the house blamed the brick layer for not making solid wall. The brick layer blamed the dancing girl for not preparing solid wall.

The girl was coming and going again and again. His attention was diverted. The king sent for the dancing girl. Now she was old. She transferred the blame to Goldsmith. As he didn't deliver the ornaments on the given time. He made her wait outside where the wall was being made. Now the king called Goldsmith.

The Goldsmith pleaded that he was making the house owner's jewelry. The wedding date was drawing near. He could not deliver the dancing girl's ornaments in time.

Now the owner of the house was the same whose wall had fallen. But he explained that the incident had occurred in his father's time. He had died so the case should be closed.

But the king told him that this person had inherited the property as well as the sins of his father. So he would be executed in his father's place. A stake was prepared for the owner of the house. However the owner's neck was thin. It could not fit in the stake.

The king ordered a thick necked person to be found for execution. Therefore the disciple was caught for this purpose. He had grown a thick neck by eating to his fill. Now the disciple was in trouble. He contacted his Guru through his vision. He appealed him for help.

The Guru at once arrived. He asked the king to execute him first and his disciple afterwards. He asked the reason.

The Guru told him in his ears. There was a secret behind it. The man who died would become king in the next birth here. The foolish king now desired to die first and his minister afterwards. He released the Guru and his disciple from jail.

He and his minister got themselves executed. The people of the kingdom of fools saw the dead bodies of the king and the minister. They caught the Guru and his disciple.

They made them the king and minister. Now the new king and the minister changed all laws. People worked at day time. They enjoyed sleep at night. The Takka system of payment was also ended.
