Tomb Raider Underworld Strategy Guide 44: Arctic Sea, Part 4

Updated on February 19, 2009

Swim out the door you came in. The only thing left to do now is go back to the area with the big gears, and put in your smaller gears.  Pull the lever, and the drawbridge will drop.  Go on and swim through it.

>

Eventually, you will get to a point where you will be out of the water, but don’t enter the grand hall just yet.  If you look to your right, you will see an interactive panel on the wall.  Use it to melt some ice and gain the Fourth Treasure

>

Now, enter in, and you will see Natla entering in a doorway.  You will need to make it across there, with a pool of acid in your way.  If you haven’t done so already, shift into Thor’s hammer mode in your weapons.

>

You will need to run straight to the edge, and then hang down.  Release, and then turn to see a Troll coming at you.  Take it out with Thor’s hammer.

>

Look to your left, and you will see a balance beam that will lead to another pad.  Go ahead and follow it and get the Fifth Treasure, and then follow it back.

>

From there, jump to the pad in front of you, but be careful.  It is easy to slip off this guy.  Go ahead and jump to the ledge on the right, and shimmy left until you can do a backwards/sideways jump to a pole.

>

Climb to the top of the pole and turn so your back faces an upraised ledge.  Go ahead and jump, and you will land on top.

>

From here, you will see the “B” prompt again.  Go ahead and use the Grapple to cross over to another side, where you can get the Sixth Treasure.  I found that this jump was hard to make, but there are ledges that you can grab on to.  Once you have the treasure, go ahead and swing your way back to where you were.

>

There is another pole that you must jump to, and slide down.  Release there, and get ready to take out two trolls that rise from the acid with the hammer of Thor.

>

You will notice a pad in front of you, so jump to it and then jump to another.  You will find the Seventh Treasure here.  Jump back to the pad where you defeated the two trolls.

>

Concentrate now on jumping to a balance beam that is on the left of the island in the acid.  Jump to it, and I would jump from a place that looks like there is a dial or something there.  I just had more success when I jumped from there.
