Meek Mill is an American rapper from Philadelphia, PA and also a member of Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group (MMG). Meek Mill was originally signed to T.I's Grand Hustle but due to T.I's legal issues, Meek was never able to release an album and they parted ways in 2010. Meek signed to MMG in 2011.

Meek Mill has been around much longer than you may know. His mixtape series, "Flamers" did well underground and should serve somewhat as Meek Mill's resume. In 2011, Meek released his mixtape, "Dreamchasers". This mixtape did exceptionally well and featured hits such as "House Party" and "Ima Boss". In 2012, Meek released "Dreamchasers 2" which featured many artists such as, Drake, Jeremih, Kendrick Lamar, French Montana, Big Sean and 2 Chainz. Within 6 hours of the release, the free mixtape was downloaded 1.5 million times.
