So glad you put 12 Angry Men in there. There is something special about how good that movie is, and it is almost entirely in one room. The rest I agree are worthy, but I still have not had the pleasure of seeing Pulp Fiction, so I am not sure about that one.

The Shawshank Redemption is a great first choice because the story is complete and the acting is excellent. Inception totally deserves recognition, especially for its cinematography and effects. And you chose some other beloved classics.

Great List choices, need more of an understanding why people love them so much though.

Interesting list. Lots of good films there. I love Shawshank (it's actually my favorite film), Pulp Fiction, 12 Angry Men, Fight Club, and the Godfathers. I liked Inception, but I wouldn't have it on my Top 10. The Dark Knight had some good/great things, namely Heath Ledger's performance, but it loses focus in its last act. I'm not a huge fan of Forrest Gump or Goodfellas.

This is a very solid list though I'm surprised by your #1. Shawshank was awesome but to think it beat out Forrest Gump and the Godfathers is rather interesting. Yet, it is your list and that is what matters. Clearly you enjoy your mafia movies and those that have to do with crime in some fashion. Great, great choices.
