Top 5 Highest Paid Bollywood Actress List

Updated on October 3, 2012

We all love celebrities and want to know about them specially their gossips really attract us. So, I did a little bit study on Bollywood's top paid actresses and published this article. The information given below is based on latest statistics (March 14, 2012).

1. Kareena Kapoor

Kareena Kapoor has delivered more than 200 crore profit from domestic box office within last two years and became India's Most Profitable Actress. Without a doubt she is the only actress who has performed with India's top actors and specially with Amir Khan, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. Kareena Kapoor has delivered 4 blockbusters of Top 10 Grossing of All Time for her producers along with the top rated stars which includes these three Khans within past 2 years. I am giving an overview of these movies

  1. 3 Idiots with Amir Khan made profit Rs. 170 crore only from domestic box office
  2. Bodyguard with Salman Khan made profit Rs. 141 crore
  3. Golmaal 3 with Ajay Devgn made profit around Rs. 108 crore
  4. Ra. One with Shahrukh Khan made profit Rs. 170 crore

She also made a stunning performance opposite Imran Khan in Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.

Kareena is the first and only Indian actress in the glorious 100 crore club. It is being informed that she grabbed Rs. 8 crore for her upcoming movie, Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine. Madhur was first selected Aishwarya for this film but later sacked due to her pregnancy.

2. Aishwarya Rai

Bachchan bahu Aishwarya Rai may be on leave for a while to take pleasure from her maternity but Ash still is one of the most beautiful actresses in the planet and she keeps the second spot in this list as Aishwarya took Rs 6.5 crore for her latest movie Rajinikanth's Robot.

From a recent market research completed by a global organisation for a watch company Aishwarya is the second most favorite brand ambassador, golf player Tiger Woods holds the first position. She is the topmost Indian in this list followed by Sachin Tendulkar on 9th position and dimple girl Preity Zinta on 15th position.

3. Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra holds a superb fan following which is her asset. But Dostana and Fashion has changed the wolrd of Priyanka Chopra. After giving these two big hits Priyanka Chopra increased her acting amount to Rs. 5 crore. So, she is the 3rd most valuable actress at this time.

4. Katrina Kaif

Hot actress Katrina Kaif isn't so good to speak Hindi and her acting power is simply not close to other top rated stars, still she is one of the most popular stars in India. She is the most searched Indian celebrity in search engines for Bollywood actress pics. Katrina deserves the no. 4 position as she takes close to Rs. 3 crores for a film.

5. Bipasha Basu

The dusky beauty Bipasha Basu has delivered a wide variety of cinemas like serious film Corporate, bengali art film Shob Charitro Kalponik, comedy film No Entry etc. Bipasha normally takes Rs. 2 crore for any cinema.

No ranking is permanent and it builds only for rebuild. There are many newcomers like Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Jhanvi Kapoor and one and only Vidya Balan who may enter this list in future.
