Top 7 Most Famous Adventure Time Foods

Updated on February 6, 2019

1. Bacon Pancakes

In the episode "Burning Low," Jake is seen preparing some food on the stove while singing a song. He sings about putting bacon in pancakes. The song is famously known over many different social media platforms. To make bacon pancakes, all you have to do is to take some bacon and put it in a pancake. Find a re-creation of Jake’s pancakes in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjeS6gtPq8E

2. Finn Cakes

Finn cakes first appear in the episode "In Your Footsteps." The cakes are small cupcakes that look like Finn Mertens, the main character from Adventure Time. They are known for being made by Finn and not allowed to be eaten by anyone other than himself. These adorable cupcakes are made with chocolate cake mix and topped with vanilla frosting. Finn’s face is drawn on with chocolate frosting and his ears are made with marshmallows.

3. The Perfect Sandwich

In the episode "Five Short Graybles," Princess Bubblegum works hard and makes the most perfect sandwich, which is known to be extremely difficult to make, despite the fact that it only has four ingredients. Each ingredient has a specific way of being made "perfectly." To start, the cheese is made by spinning a cow and using a machine to create and slice the perfect slice of cheese. Next, the lettuce is made in a lab to create it at the perfect size, then to get the right piece, hit with a baseball bat. Then for the tomato, you must teleport a red balloon and jellyfish, then to slice, karate chop into three slices, though only one is used. Lastly, the bread is made with magic and cut by crystal laser beams. Though making the perfect sandwich today is impossible, it might not be in the future.

4. Prismo's Homemade Artisanal Pickles

Prismo is a character that appears later on in the Adventure Time series. While Prismo has been stuck inside a single box in space for a long time, he has grown the hobby of making pickles. These pickles are known for having effects while, or after, eating them. If Prismo is dead than eating his pickle will create a time paradox, but if eaten before going to bed, the consumer will be subjected to weird dreams. These pickles are introduced in the episode "Jake the Dog." While they are last shown in "Is that You?" which is an episode mainly about Prismo and his pickles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjeS6gtPq8E

5. Jake’s Most Delicious Sandwich

In the episode "Time Sandwich," Jake creates what he calls the most delicious sandwich. The sandwich has many ingredients inside that make is so delicious. Jake starts with a toasted baguette, then adds the following: cream cheese, dill, pickle (#4), diced boiled eggs, a bird, sliced cucumber, sliced Roma tomatoes, sweet yellow onions, meat that is prepared sous-vide with rosemary and thyme, bacon, tears, and a lobster soul. This awesome creation has been remastered by a famous YouTuber known as Babish. Check that video out right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsxBw6ls7Z0

6. The Everything Burrito

In the episode “Conquest of Cuteness,” Jake prepares this burrito. It is called the everything burrito because it has everything that is considered food. He ends up falling in love with the burrito so much he decides to cuddle and carry it around with him rather than eating it. The list of foods is too long to include, but I found an adorable video making two edible versions of the “everything” burrito. One is savory while the other is sweet, both contain many of the ingredients known to be in the everything burrito from Adventure Time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dsWImH_920

7. Royal Tart

In the episode “The Other Tarts,” Princess Bubblegum makes a Candy Kingdom delicacy known as the Royal Tart, known throughout the land of Ooo to be the most delicious dessert. In the episode, Princess Bubblegum trusts Finn and Jake to take the tarts because they are used in Royal Ceremonies. There is not much to this dessert itself other than what is in the episode, but you ca find a fun re-creation of the tart right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dsWImH_920
