Toy Story 4 - Review
Toy Story 4 is the fourth installment in the Toy Story Franchise. Toy Story 4 follows Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the crew as they adventure on a road trip with Bonnie (Their new kid) and her new toy Forkey. Their journey turns out to be an unexpected reunion after Woody's detour leads him to reunite with his lost friend Bo Peep.
Sitting in the theatre I was filled with anticipation to see the supposed final installment to the Toy Story franchise. I have seen countless movies in my lifetime but Toy Story will always hold a special place as Toy Story 2 was the first movie I ever watched in theaters.
Story 4 sets itself somewhere in the near future after Toy Story 3. Even after coming out 9 whole years after the third movie I still feel like we are picking up exactly where we left off.
This movie started off Strong and with tons of heart and that is the exact way it ended. Toy Story 4 was a phenomenal film. Bringing me back to my childhood making me feel like a kid again. The writing of this film was amazing, I honestly packed with wonder, and emotion and honestly a couple of I want to say "scary" moments. The story of Toy Story 4 kept me on the edge of my seat. The pacing was absolutely perfect kept me focused and along for the ride the whole time. I never once felt like the movie dragged on or was going to fast. The style of animation was absolutely breathtaking, multiple times throughout the course of the film I would see these toys running around in a world I could've sworn was a real one. On top of everything, of course, the highlight that brought everything together was the wonderful score by Randy Newman.
In my opinion, this is Pixar’s BEST movie to date! Everyone please go out and see Toy Story!
