Trayvon Martin's Killer Out on Bond
The Tragedy
We are still in shock as the shooting death of 17 year old Trayvon Martin has swept the Nation, not only does it affect the Family, which lost him, it affects the hearts of a lot of American's.
Goerge Zimmerman a neighborhood watch-man, shot and killed, 17 year old Trayvon Martin on Feb. 26, Zimmerman claims self-defense, after he claimed Martin punched him, and jumped on him, smashing his head into concrete, Zimmerman is facing up to a life sentence if convicted. Zimmerman is out on $150,000 bond.
Zimmerman stood up and apologized to the Parents of Martin, stating, "I am sorry for the loss of your son. I did not know how old he was. I thought he was a little bit younger than I am. I did not know if he was armed or not.", he addressed Martin's family directly.
