Tree Images - The backdrop trees provide (photo gallery)

Updated on August 9, 2012

Tree images - the ambiance trees provide

I love trees and I constantly try to photograph trees and here are some tree images that I love. Trees can create the right ambiance for our homes, gardens and our photographs. I enjoy using the backdrop of trees and plants in my creative writing attempts. It helps me create the right ambiance that is needed as a prop or a backdrop for a scene. The impact that a right description could create has always been known, but it was not until I put this photo gallery of tree images together that I felt the force of the impact that trees could actually have on the tale you tell. Trees could become the backdrop or the highlight of your garden, if used in an aesthetic manner. Try planting some of these trees and you may find your inspiration for life.

The java Cassia against the sky - tree images

Beauty, harmony and peace could be conveyed through the use of beautiful trees. I would like to have this Java cassia as a back drop for a marriage scene that is happening outdoors. It would sound like the most idyllic and perfect setting for a fairy tale kind of wedding. The tenderness, the warm blush of love, the abundance of the heart, could all be signified in a setting like this. This picturesque tree would occupy the central part of my garden in the dream home, that I am planning for and investing on.

The Trail blazer - Tree images

The Gulmohar or May flower as it is commonly known is the beauty of an Indian summer. If you are travelling along the highways you would be fascinated by the different shades that this tree can produce, from the deepest scarlet to the bright orange.

Join with me in imagining this scene, the ground is carpeted with the deep red tear drop like petals of the Gulmohar flowers and your scene depicts a jilted lover. I know, my imagination is running riot ...I cant help, but associate them together. This tree with its beautiful looking buds and orchid like flowers, paints a picture of arresting beauty. It is for the bold of heart.

Sinister looking tree image

The sinister and the evil that hangs around amidst what seems to be a peaceful atmosphere can be beautifully depicted through the description of such a tree image as this. On a beautiful clear day this tree did stand out as something definitely sinister.

Tree image - As old as the hills

This is a 200 year old tree, I am told by a guide. It is fenced and kept away from the uncaring public. This tree image signifies to me all that is long lasting. A marriage that has flourished and lasted for long, an old family and its heritage, standing proud and tall despite the storms. Beautiful! Majestic!! is what I can say looking at this picture perfect tree!!

As stately as the palms
As stately as the palms

Palm tree images

These stately palms convey to me uprightness of character, the loud rustling of the leaves in the wind would conjure up the memories of a lovely holiday under the sun. These photogenic beauties are always my favorites.

It is over - Tree image.

It is over, I mean for this season, the tree will be back true to its name in full flame. It is called the flame of the forest. This is a image of the tree after its flowering season is over and the tree has yielded of it bounty to the future. Bereft of the seeds, that now lay scattered by the winds, the pods await their end. These boat shaped split pods used to be the ship of dreams in my childhood.

Twin tree image

United we stand, the Siamese twins, freaks of nature, call it what you may, but it is real.

Dead among the living - tree images

The contrast of a dead tree among the living, ethereal bamboo trees, a picture of stark contrast in life. The dramatic difference appeals to me.

A tree by the lake - tree images

The romance and the peace of a life fulfilled. I think, I am often here mentally and emotionally, yet in real life, it is the most happening. This is my prop for a mature fulfilled love, the peace of having seen children establish themselves and now my characters sit back, to enjoy life in peace and tranquility!!!
