Britney Spears's former photographer has brought the singing star, who recently released long-awaited new music, once again to the headlines. Andrew Gallery worked for Spears at the end of the previous decade, and he has publicly shared a personal Letter Britney wrote regarding her father.

According to NME, the letter from 2008 reveals the degree of difficulty between the singer and her dad Jamie Spears, a disagreement over her conservatorship. In the note Spears accuses her father of threatening to take her children, which led her to "spin out of control."

Such turmoil may eventually result in another hit for Spears, if she can somehow get the feelings into a song. Not only would it be therapeutic for her, but it might also give music fans yet another "Letter" song.

Here are twenty others containing the word letter in their titles, which unfortunately, contains none recorded by the Lettermen.

1. Box Full of Letters by Wilco
This catchy track from AM has Jeff Tweedy contemplating the relics of a recent relationship, including the written communications and a collection of records.

2. Strawberry Letter 23 by the Brothers Johnson
It may trail the Fan Four as the most famous strawberry song, but this number proved to be the biggest hit by the fraternal R and B band.

3. Letters From the Waste Land by the Wallflowers
His dad of course is also on the list, so Jakob Dylan exhibits some of his old man's writing talent on this track from Breach.

4. A Letter To My Heart by Jim Reeves
While pleading in an earlier hit for her to put her sweet lips closer to the phone, on this one the country crooner communicates with himself.

5. Black Letter Day by Frank Black and the Catholics
This title track is just one highlight on the former Pixies front man's second solo record, joining "21 Reasons" and "Around the Bend."

6. Love Letters by Elvis Presley
He had earlier mailed one of these title objects, only to get it back with "Return To Sender" on it.

7. Letters From Home by Horslips
Part of the late Seventies New Wave, this quartet included this nostalgia track on The Man Who Built America.

8. We Could Send Letters by Aztec Camera
Roddy Frame held considerable talent as a songwriter, as evidenced by this tune and the rest of the debut album High Land Hard Rain.

9. Take a Letter Maria by R.B. Grevas
With its theme of a cheating wife, it is no wonder that several country artists made their own versions of what was originally a mix of R & B and calypso.

10. Letters in the Mail by James Taylor
Unlike in the hit where he could not remember whom to send it to, JT on this track knows his audience for these communications.

11. Letter To My Mama by Vince Gill
Former Pure Prairie League member Gill went to country stardom, thanks to heartfelt gems like this.

12. Chain Letter by Todd Rundgren
On the phone he says hello it's me, a different greeting than the one offered in this track from the complication called Runt.

13. Love Letters in the Sand by Patsy Cline
Needless to say, such correspondence does not last long, making it the perfect image for a classic country song.

14. A Letter To Elise by the Cure
Robert Smith has never directly identified the title girl's real name, but the tub still fits in With the rest of the Eighties alt rock band's discography.

15. Letter To Me by Brad Paisley
Among the other images in this nostalgiac country hit, he managed to get Skoal and Playboy into the same line.

16. Letter Never Sent by REM
"Don't Go Back To Rockville" and "So. Central Rain" were much bigger hits, even though this Reckoning classic should not go overlooked.

17. Call Letter Blues by Bob Dylan
Chances are any list of twenty songs would include at least one by Mr. Zimmerman, who gets to share billing with his son Jakob.

18. Letter Edged In Black by Hank Snow
His mailman was smiling, not realizing this letter he was delivering announced the death of the recipient's mother.

19. The Letter by the Box Tops
Before Alex Chilton came into his own as leader of Big Star, music fans grew familiar with his voice because of this smash as well as "Cry Like a Baby."

20. Love Is a Four Letter Word by Joan Baez
Dylan gets a third mention in this list, having been the composer of this hit by his long time folk colleague.
