War Trailer Review - Hrithik & Tiger Go Head To Head In This One
It's Hrithik Vs Tiger This October
Ever since Yash Raj Films announced that they are planning on making a movie starring Hrithik Roshan & Tiger Shroff, fans have been going crazy over it. When the teaser released it gave a sneak peak of of all the high octane action and now that the Trailer of War is out, I cannot wait to watch two of the most amazing actors go on a war against each other.
Siddharth Anand is directing the movie and Yash Raj Films ( Aditya Chopra) is funding the movie. YRF and Hrithik Roshan have collaborated after almost 11 years since Dhoom 2. War has Hrithik Roshan & Tiger Shroff in lead roles & Vani Kapoor will be playing the leading lady of the movie.
This will be the first film where Hrithik Roshan & Tiger Shroff will be seen together.
Now that we have gotten that information out of the way let’s discuss things about trailer, shall we?
The first word that came out of my mouth while I was watching the trailer was “Wow”. From the looks of it, War might just be one of the biggest & the most extravagant movies to release this year.
The trailer opens with a beautiful scenery of mountains filled with snow and moves onto show Kabir played by Hrithik Roshan jumping on an army aircraft; beating & shooting the shit out of soldiers. Then a dialogue “Kabir has gone rogue” which kind of gives away the plot of the movie. Kabir is one charming army officer to be honest. His look in the movie is by far the best one till now.
The army appoints Khalid to hunt Kabir down, since Khalid was a student of Kabir; no one understands Kabir better than Khalid does. The fact that the war is between a teacher & his student makes it so much more interesting. Fun fact – Tiger Shroff thinks of Hirthik Roshan as his teacher in real life as well.
The best part of the trailer is when Kabir & Khalid exchange dialogues. That scene would be treat to watch on the silver screen.
Chase sequences, Blasts, Breaking chandeliers on people’s heads, Beautiful women, Handsome men, beautiful locations; looks like this movie has everything in it. Everything is shot with such perfection.
Then the trailer goes on to show some amazing action, fight sequences which are choregraphed and shot in an amazing way. Another best part of the trailer is when Hrithik & Tiger Shroff go head to head with each other by the end of the trailer.
But, there are moments when Khalid & Kabir are fight along side each other instead of fighting each other. Is that a flash back or does Khalid goes rogue as well? We have to wait till 2nd October for that question to be answere.
John Stewart Eduri has played really with the Background score of the Trailer. He mutes the Background music alltogether during the dialogues which kind of makes the scene intense. Each bit of music elevates the sequences to next level. It’s intense and it’s adernaline pumping music.
Someone has said that A movie is as good as it’s director. But I say, A movie is as good as it’s director & cinematographer. Because eventually we see a movie through cinematographor’s eyes. The whole movie depends how captures directors vision and how he wants audience to see it. Benjamin Jasper has done a great job of capturing the locations and every move of this high octane action movie’s trailer.
With all that being said, we still have to wait to see how Vaani Kapoor plays out into the story. Will there just be love angle or is she going to do some kicking ass, taking names thing.
Eventhough the trailer kind of gives away the story, it raises a boat load of questions like why did Kabir go rogue, what is he looking for, what is his mission etc. There’s a shot where a missile is being shot, was Kabir trying to save the country from an attack? Well, we have to wait for the movie to come out to answer that question.
From looks to costumes to backdrops everything is so vibrant and yet brutal. War has the potential to break a serious amount of box ofiice records. Fans have been raving about the trailer all over social media. If you have watched the trailer, let me know what you think of it.
