Watching romantic comedy movies bestows my spirit with wonderful feelings of love, joy and thrill. Oh well, I confess I am a romantic at heart. You know there are days when you just want to curl up on the sofa and get yourself engrossed in love fights and sweet kisses and crazy and cry and laugh and cry some more.
Romantic movies make me see the many different sides to a story, perspectives drawn out from a myriad of experiences that at one point you meet a character that resonates with your being. Remember the proposal? Remember the complicated feelings and situations you found yourself in? And what about the insane ideas we do when we are hurt and confused? Margaret in an attempt to find a solution to her dilemma (deportation back to Canada) annouced that she and Andrew are engaged to be married! Andrew who was also yearning for a promotion went along with her scheme. Everything was going well as planned until the overzealous immigration official wanted to prove that their engagement was a lie. So to prove that their marriage was real, Margaret agreed to go to Alaska with Andrew and be his family which of course was an experience that changed their lives forever.
