Who is the best baddie, villain, foe, enemy in Star Wars? Darth Sidious Vs Darth Maul Vs Darth Vadar Vs Boba Fett + more

Being a Sith lord he was a master of Light Saber combat. He could also use a lightning strike from his hands as well as control the force like any Jedi.

Using the force he had lived for over a 1000 years and studied every aspect of Jedi and Sith lore so he was one of the most powerful practitioners in the history of the force.

Palpatine was a cruel and angry young man even though he was a son of a noble family on Naboo. This got him the attention of Darth Plagueis, who was disguised as Magiseter Hego Demask of Demask Holdings.

When his father learnt of this relationship he tried to send his son away to protect him. However, Palpatine destroyed his family and their guards using nothing but the force. He then became Darth Sidious and the apprentice of Darth Plagueis.

After learning what he could from his master he deemed it time to strike out for power himself and thus killed his master while he slept. From then on he never slept himself through fear of succumbing to the same fate. He sustains himself through meditation alone.

We meet Palpatine in the movies as a manipulative and ambitious politician. With a lot of work behind the scenes he rose to power swiftly and eventually became emperor of the republic. This power he would never give up and after the annihilation the vast majority of Jedi's it seemed no one would ever be able to.

He used many pawns along the way; Darth Maul, Count Dooku and General Grevious to speak of a few, all for this pursuit of power. Once he established himself as Emperor, democracy was abandoned and an order of tyranny, brute and lethal force and a constant fear was established, all in the order to keep him in power.

Darth Maul is a Sith apprentice and therefore can control the force in powerful ways. He is also a master of fighting with a lightsabre, using his double lightsabre which most Jedi's find too difficult to wield.

He also possesses remarkable agility and speed even compared to Jedis.

A Nightbrother of Darthomir, shown by the tattoos and markings all over his body, Maul was taken and trained as a Sith apprentice from birth by Darth Sidious.

As such he does not have any memories of his home world of Iridonia or his family. Being trained in the ways of the dark side since he was taken from a very early age, Darth Maul is incapable of normal emotions, and instead feels only rage and blood lust. This may be a result of punishements were given to him if any weakness was shown while he trained.

As many abused children/people they 'love' their abuser, so unlike many Siths he never thought of killing Sidious, probably due to the fact that he had been brainwashed pretty much from birth.

This was tested to the limit though when Darth Sidious abandoned him on an isolated world to be hunted down by assassin droids. When Sidious returned, he was challenged to a duel which he lost quickly. Darth Sidious then told him he had failed and was to be replaced. Darth Maul flipped at this and nearly killed his master but relented at the last moment. Darth Sidious had won by doing this, as he explained that because he wanted to kill his master that he had become a true Sith and therefore passed the final test.

A true master of the force and was one of the most powerful Jedi's alive before their fall.

He is a true master of the light saber and can kill by mere thoughts alone.

Anakin Skywalker was found as a young slave on Tatooine by Qui-Gin Jinn. He was born without a father but lived with his slave mother at the time. Qui-Gon Jonn 'won' him when betting on a pod race and took him to the Jedi council, believing him to be the 'chosen one' who will eventually bring balance back to the force by destroying the Sith.

He became apprentice to Obi-Wan Kenobi after the death of Gui-Gon Jinn and became a very talented Jedi who saved the life of his master plenty of times. Years later he met up with the ex-queen of Naboo, Padme Amidala, and became romantically attached to her and eventually married her and fathered twins - Luke and Leia.

Anakin became obsessed with saving his mother and with the aid of Padme he went back to Naboo. With Darth Sidious making suttle suggestions in his ears and the fact that he slaughtered her captures, his fall from grace took its toll.

After a vision that Padma would die in childbirth, Anakin was determined to find a way of saving her. This is when he turned to Darth Sidious and his fall was complete. Anakin was to become the Darth Sidious' apprentice. His first test was to kill everyone in the Jedi council which he did with ease.

Once Obi-wan Kanobi found out he pursued Darth Vadar across the galaxy and fought him. Darth Vadar was left defeated, with his legs cut off and severe burns to his body on the lava planet of Musafar. Darth Vadar only survived because Darth Sidious felt his pain and went to save him. He was then encased in a suit and mask that would keep him alive.

Once this transformation took place, Darth Vadar took the mantle of being Darth Sidious' iron fist in the newly created Empire.

Boba Fett was a skilled marksmen with many weapons and a good tactician.

When Jango Fett agreed to the cloning of himself for the republic's army, he only agreed if he could have one unaltered clone of himself to raise as a son.

When Jango was killed by Mace Windu on Geonosis, Boba vowed vengeance on all Jedi and what they stood for. Still a young boy and on the run he was taken into employment by Jabba the Hutt. Jango's armour was re-sized for his own use and he was trained in the arts of a bounty hunter.

He continued to train in the same way his 'father' had taught him, and after years of dedication became one of the greatest bounty hunters to ever live. He even had the skills to kill those who could use the force.

A master tactician and expert at marksmen.

Living on a farm on Concord Dawn Jango Fett led an ordinary life with is parents and sisters. This all changed though when his family was killed for hiding a Mandalorian hero, Jaster Mereel.

Jango led him and his army to safety though, and helped to form a counter attack on his families killers. His bravery and skills in battle earned him a place in Jaster's army, where he raised in rank swiftly.Eventually he became leader and a very successful one at that.

The Death Watch, who they had been fighting sent for aid from the Jedi. The strike team was led by Count Dooku, a Jedi knight at the time. All of Jango's men were slain in front of him and so he went into a blind rage, killing seven Jedi with his bare hands.

He was brought down though and sold into slavery, although he killed his capture soon after. Count Dooku had kept a close eye on his since his encounter before and he arranged to meet him, thinking he would be a prime candidate for the clone army for the republic.

Jango accepted the offer as long as he could have one unaltered clone for himself. Calling him Boba Fett he set about training this small child in the arts he had learnt over the years.

Eventually he was beheaded though by Mace Windu in the battle of Geonosis in front of Boba Fett who has eversince wanted revenge.

He is a very long lived crime lord with resources that could bring down an empire if he so wished.

Jabba the Hutt is one of the most notorious crime lords in the galaxy and has a large empire in the Outer Rim. His reputation and power commanded that much respect that even the Republics rulers stayed out of his way.

He is known for his employment of bounty hunters like Boba Fett and his use of smugglers like Han Solo. He was swift to take action against anyone who displeased him though, as Han found out when he was eventually captured and carbon-frozen for avoiding paying Jabba what he owed him.

This decision was to be his downfall though as Han's friends came to his rescue and he was killed in the aftermath.

A master tactician and Sith Lord makes him a deadly foe. He has a great knowledge of the force which even Yoda couldn't best in his fight with him.

The apprentice of Master Yoda and master himself to Qui-Gon Jinn, Count Dooku was originally a powerful Jedi knight before he fell to the dark side.

Dooku eventually lost faith in a corrupt Galactic Senate and the Jedi order who served them. The Jedi's lack of help for oppressed worlds was something that angered him greatly. The death of his former apprentice and friend, Gui-Gon Jinn was the final blow and he became the apprentice of Darth Sidious.

He became colder and crueler as time went on as he was currupted by the dark side, and found a deep hatred from non-humans. Being the leader of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, this seperatist group started to rebel against the republic.

During this time he trained General Grievous, and also procured the first designs of the Death Star. He faught many Jedi during the clone wars, most notably the one with Yoda which he escaped from after cutting off the right arm off Anakin Skywalker.

With the capture of Palpatine, which he was decieved into carrying out. He wasn't to know that this had two reasons and nothing to do with him; first was to get more symothy for emergency powers to fight this war, the second was to allow Anakin to fall towards the dark side, which was allowed when he was finally defeated and killed by him.

Probably the greatest Jedi killer there was, with enhanced strength, speed and durability to fight as well as having four limbs to hold lightsabres to offer a massive advantage.

He also has a brilliant tactical mind that led to him becoming general.

Originally a Kaleesh warlord named Qymaen jai Sheelal, Grievious was born during the Huk War. Insectoid Huk's were trying to conquer the reptilian Kaleesh for slaves. By the time he was 8, he had over forty kills on his belt. By the time he was an adult he killed so many that many lost count.

He married a woman who was just as visuous as he after she had killed a beast he had hunted down. They taught each other their fighting techniques, she teaching him how to use a sword.

She was killed though during one skirmish with the Huk's and he became depressed. Grievous took his revenge in the only way he knew how - slaughter. Every Huk was expelled from the planet or died at his hands.

The Huks turned to the republic for help, but Grievous carried on the fight. He attacked their homeworld eventually after gaining the support of Count Dooku and Darth Sidious, but they had plans for him. They set an ion bomb off on board his ship, making sure that Grievous' pod would escape. However it hit water at such a force that it damaged a lot of his body and only with Dooku's use of the force was kept alive. Grievous was transformed into a cyborg to keep him alive but Dooku told him that the republic had bombed his ship and were responsible for the murder of his men. He then vowed to get revenge from that day forth.

He went onto become the best Jedi killer of the time after training from Dooku in the forms of lightsaber combat and tactics.

There is no doubt in my mind that Star Wars has some of the best baddies ever imagined. They are so numerous and well developed that you can't help but love them.

I would say my personal favourite would be Jango Fett because I think he looks so cool.
