Hindi TV Channels are constantly trying to serve their audience with something new which captures more audience. The prime time slots on TV are most important for the lead actors as well as the team associated with the show. If the main casts of the show connect well with audience, it’s like icing on the cake for the producers and TV channel.

Sometimes lead casts are changed overnight in Hindi Serials which comes as a shock to the audience. Recently, famous TV shows like Bhabhi ji ghar per hain and Comedy nights with Kapil, which airs on &TV and Colors respectively, are much talked in media world. The reason is that the main casts of the shows are replaced, despite the fact that they brought so much popularity to the show with their comic timings and unique character portrayals.

So what could be the major reason behind replacements of such popular lead actors from their shows? While it is difficult to find exact reasons behind exit of main casts from serials, there are various logics doing rounds in media.

If sources are to be believed, unprofessional behavior of the lead actress Shilpa Shinde is to be blamed for the instant replacement on the famous TV Serial Bhabhi ji ghar per hain airing on &TV during prime time. The show was a hit due to its unique concept and comic timings of the main casts. Among the four leads, Shilpa Shinde portrayed the character of innocent and honest wife who struggles in speaking and understanding English language. Her dialogue delivery and accent help drawing more audience to the show. Her famous dialogue “Sahi pakde hai….” Is hit among all age groups of audience. Shilpa’s exit from the show has brewed many stories. While the producers claim that unprofessionalism and demands grew from the actress gradually, the other side of the story suggests something else. Rumours are that, the actress has grabbed important role in Kapil Sharma’s new show.

Kapil Sharma is coming up with his new much awaited show on Sony TV. Earlier he produced and appeared in Comedy nights with Kapil which was most popular show aired on Colors channel on weekends. The channel replaced Kapil Sharma for his one-time co-actor and comedian Krishna Abhishek with a different show name as Comedy nights LIVE. The major reason believed behind Kapil’s replacement from the show is the violation of contract between the show producer and TV channel. Colors CEO claimed that Kapil demanded for more money, which was fulfilled but he still violated contract by doing shows on other channels. On the other hand, Kapil and his team claims that other comedy show on Colors was promoted more than Comedy nights with Kapil.

Each side had their side of the story to tell. It is difficult to differentiate between the rumours and facts. The actual reasons behind such replacement of main casts remains unveiled to show audience. While all these goes in the real world, Hindi TV Serials has lot more drama to offer on reel world to their audiences. So sit back and enjoy!
